I've been knitting since July this year, and do Eastern European knitting style. I'm a whiz with straight needles and circular needles, but when I'm knitting a hat and come to the end where I have to transfer to DPNs, it's a nightmare. This is where I usually end up with stitches slipping off the DPNs, awkward maneuvering, and total frustration. It takes me almost as long to knit with double pointed needles for about 3 rows as it does to use circular needles for about 10 rows of knitting!
i hve a uestion when i am done using the cir needles.. i switch to the dpns... whenn i start knitting... It is purling on the side where my stockinette stitch is.... what am i doing wrong???
GREAT instructions. The hands were slow and stopped to show the stitches and, mainly, the joining. I loved it because there was no flipping and flopping around of the yarn/needles as she worked! Do you have more knitting insts?? Thank you soooo much.
well, that's easier than i thought! Goodie.

Yes, it sounds like a restaurant doesn't it? I had my sister filming me and my son was unloading the dishwasher. I love my little people.

You may have set it down and when you picked it up started knitting on the wrong side.
The back of a knit stitch is a purl bump. If you have purl bumps on your 'right' side, then you are knitting on the 'back' side of your work.
Hope that helps!
