I saw this show on may 6, 2006 for my 21st birthday. It was AMAZING!! I love Hugh Panaro. I just wish they would release that cast album. Grrr.

I'm not quite sure why, but Lestat wasn't very successful. It closed about a month after opening.

I bet it was due to vampires not being very popular. I never saw the show but I love the music from the show and I've read all the books. It makes me so irritated to say this but I believe that if it came out now it'd be more popular because Twilight made "vampires" more popular... eventhough real vampires don't sparkle lol great video

It's very so sad that such a musical died at such a young age. If they had taken the San Fransisco version to New York it truly would have been a sensation.

I really do hope that they at least release an official soundtrack.
