only problem with these track tractors is that they are slow on the road.. and they don't handle bumps and check-banks very well. they also shake too much at certain speeds, sometimes its so bad that all the safety rails snap off.. they can also be difficult to learn to drive as they can spin on the spot. and you can turn into anything that your pulling, as i have done.

You guys need the 2600 greenstar monitors they are way easier to set up and use if u ask me. We use our 2600 display on our corn planter for the firtilizer.

Nice Deere's! Before they started selling these tractors they brought one out for us to demo on our farm (in NE Iowa). They had it covered on the trailer so nobody could see it when they were bringing it to us. We ran it for 24 hours straight for three days. They are really nice but we never bought one. We use CAT's for most of the field work.

oh i see.. We farm around Greene. I guess if you really think about it we are in more north central iowa. Strawberry point sounds really familiar but i just cant put my finger on it. How many CATs do you run?

We run 2 CAT's right now. An MT765 that we do all the planting with (Deere 36 Row planter). Also pull chisel plow and put on anhydrous with it. The other is a MT875. Pull chisel plow and field cultivator with it. Have GPS auto-steer on both which is nice.

thats cool. Right now we run a 45 which does planting, anhydrous, and grain cart and a 85c that is a piece of shit for field cultivating and chiseling. We just bought a 35 that has the HP of a 45 to spray with. We have a 475r combine. Sometime soon here we will probably upgrade to the new models but for now these work. We also have some Case tractors and equipment.

why do you need so much horse power we made our 512 9 shanks into 11 shanks and with the shanks in the longest hole our 9420s still dont phase them 96s are for them POS dmi rippers that donteven bury the stubble or cut up the clods!!!!!

i have a friend who has a 9630T and the biggest ripper avalible from john deere. They took it back to the dealer and had them make it i think 3 feet bigger on each side and it still doesnt even make that tractor break a sweat. Imagine if they had a MT875 Cat on it!
