I had surgery before I was born. My problem was different though. I've seen 3 cases of spina bifida in my classes. Two you couldn't tell the difference (other than a scar on the back of their neck), and one was in a wheel chair.

Do you know where your lesion was? Connor's was fairly low down his back at L4 range.
