Clark and Lana may have faced problems and drama, but they also had their happy moments, they had their jokes and laughter and doing awesome stuff together (which Clois ripped off), Clark and Lana unlike Clois knew of the good times and bad times and loved each other regardless and kept going back to each other because of the strong love they shared. Clana = true love.

@ButlerBulldogBill I didn't know they're the #1 couple in comics world but yeah, of course I know that in the comics they're together... I've seen the movies, some Superman: TAS, L&C: The New Adventures of Superman, I know about the comics and she shows up in one of the SG's that I have... like really, I know they're iconic and have history and so and I don't really mind them in other media but in SV they make zero sense. For me they're forced, badly written and lack chemistry. Fair no? :)

I will admit that I did love Lana at first. She and Clark had tremendous chemistry, as well as the actors who portrayed them. I thought she made a great first love for Clark but I knew it needed to stay as a "first love", nothing more.

While I don't feel the same as you, I respect yours as well and I'm glad actually, that the not-so-cannon-SV gave Clana lots of time, depth, focus... I absolutely love how the show was very much Clana but also I can see why you feel the other way there.

@ButlerBulldogBill Yeah, someone who I assumed was a Clois fan (b/c of past experience) said something really horrible about Lana and so I was in counter attack mode, it wasn't the mature thing to do but I'm so tired of death wishes to my favorite character, so I ended up coming here and speaking my mind too. Truth to be told I'm kinda glad that I did... not all fans are the same, I need to remember that and while I don't find SV's Clois to be romantic... live and let live? I'll try that more.

Yeah it amazes me how everybody hates bullies but they're the first to get online and bully everyone else with their verbal abuse. People need to grow up. Is arguing over Clana and Clois really worth it? There are more important things going on in the world to get angry over than who Clark's better romance was on a tv show.

IMO, they shouldn't have dragged it out so long because it started to feel silly to me and it caused me to strongly dislike Lana's character. The final straw for me was when they gave her powers and tried to play her off as a superhero. It felt like such a farce to me. Then again, this is my opinion. Even though we're on different sides, I just wanted to say thank you for being a Smallville fan. If it wasn't for you, me, or the millions of others this show would've not been so successful

@ButlerBulldogBill Yeah, it's you're opinion & it's fine :P personally I always loved the pair, always will... there's actually something to all of their struggles, it makes me love and appreciate them much, much more for everything they went through together <3 and through the good times and bad times I always felt for Lana's character and I give huge credit to KK for that, for always showing vulnerability, insecurity at some level... she always showed range of emotions and made me feel.

Aw, that's nice... in a world full of fan wars we tend to forget that we're all part of the same show, the big fandom. Clana fans, Chlark fans, Clois fans all supported and loved something about the show, everybody contributed in a way or another... well done to all!

Dont get me wrong I love Clark and Lois but I think she and Olliver make such a better couple. She has more chemistry with him and Clark, eh I dont feel the sparks from him at all. He had very much of them with Lana!

I didn't realy like Lana! :) she and Clark didn't have "this thing", I think. What's to Lois and Ollie I agree they have huge chemistry beetween each other! When they were together I was absolutely suporting them.

But I think that Lois and Clark's relationship is much more interesting, and well they've been with each other in comic. The definetly do have chemisty. All their talks, rows etc. Though it's really hard chose to make - Lois and Clark or Ollie? I think I'm 60:40. :)

Anyway I believe its because of the script and the nonsenses of Smallville that I have not bought yet the Clois love story. She and Ollie have had a true chemistry the first second they met and Clark and her did not stand eachother at all at the beginning.
