You have a great voice but try to determine when the ornamentation is needed rather than over souling. Less is more sometimes. You're adding a lot of extra ornamentation rather than just singing and it's too much. Cut the vibrato in half and it starts to become more subtle and special.

you sir, are a dumbass. No, it's not the stark version Withers did it originally, but it is a very well played and arranged interpetation. Fingerstyle is tough enough but to sing AND play at the same time takes a lot of talent and work. For a home recording, this is very nice.
