As compared to what, the most popular rally car Subaru? Subaru's understeer like crazy, then snap oversteer. Really drive a well mantianed e30 through some twisties and tell me they "have no handling". Really what handles better that would be practical for rally?
It isn't any "fuckin reno 5", it's Reno R5 Turbo, a Group B car! It has more horses to tonne, better weight distribution (because of its mid-engine layout) and better acceleration than those BMWs in this video and it is much more suitable for rallying than any BMW. I really feel sorry for that poor car.
I have to disagree... the driver is always in control... or well when the car is out of control it reflects on the driver.
Ever seen what a Porsche does in a corner if you stab the brakes? If you are at the edge you need to slightly increase throttle to keep the weight on the rear tires and deal with it.
