3LW was group all on their own. Keily Williams, Adrienne Bailon, and another member named Naturi (who left and was replaced by a girl named Jessica). Then Kiely and Adrienne got the role in the movie The Cheetah Girls, cast alongside Raven-Symone' and Sabrina Bryan. The Cheetah Girls, then became a real life group, minus Raven. Now 3LW and The Cheetah Girls have both disbanned.

So Cheetah Girls was first a book series that turned into a Disney Channel Movie that turned into a real life group.
