Treasure has never let me down! Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Gunstar Heroes, Alien Soldier, Guardian Heroes, Dynamite Headdy... Hell, even Mcdonald's Treasure Island was decent. And I seriously doubt that this is not going to be the best Wii games ever, and maybe one of the greatest games of all time. Treasure is probably the best game company ever in my book at the moment.

So, Nintendo... when is Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) coming to the VC? If a U.S. VC release of Sin and Punishment spurred Treasure to make a stateside sequel, imagine what a U.S. port of SD3 for the VC would do for the Mana Series. Square might actually go back to making Mana games that don't suck and are closer to the style of SoM1 and SoM2, instead of the last half-ass attempts at rekindling the flame.

What are the control though? I'm very picky about things like that. I hope I can move with the nunchul's control stick, aim with the remote, and fire my main weapon using the B trigger. It just doesn't feel right pressing A to fire a standard weapon.

S&P isnt an FPS game, its a shoot'em up game. its famous for its unique gameplay which is move, and shoot while containing elements of arcade guncon gameplay(like time crysis) without the reloading. also the story is and art design is unique.

Nintendo understand about the controls so most of the new wii games give you the option to change it.

Me I'm aiming with the wii remote also Sin and punishment shouldn't be a problem for GC and remote controls unless to use the sword you have to shake the wii remote then thats a hell no cause most players will lose their accuracy.

The president of Treasure, Masato Maegawa, confirmed early on in a interview with 1UP that the game would not be WiiWare. I guess Nintendo Channel is just silly :P "What? An arcade style game thaty will probably be short? Oh let's just put it under WiiWare then."

And besides. Look at the amount of detail and stuff going on in this game. WiiWare has a size limit you know; it has to be lower than I think around 48MB. This game would NOT last very long at all were it WiiWare.

One thing i don't get: WHY REVIVE A 10 YEAR OLD GAME THAT SEEMED LIKE IT DIDN'T NEED A SEQUEL?! Another thing, although the first S&P had good contorls and decent gameplay, the plot was all over the place. It was so random and filled with anime-logic, that no matter how much you played it!The very least i have figured out from the plot is that monsters were destroying Tokyo, and some rebels destroy the monsters, and cops take a blood that turns them evil.

Also costume change does not exist in every game, but to finish no the way you're character looks does not even slighlty affect the gameplay, a game has never been bad because the main character looked bad. Essentially judging on appearance isnt sensible because of its shallow method. Imagine a reviewer saying "sure the game plays like no other and is amazing but this character has terrible fashion sense so the game is terrible". Also when in a destroyed japan I doubt you have much choice in fashion.

It's not some big hero outfit because the main character isnt some big hero he is a rebel fighting against the military and an experiment gone wrong. The guy there is the son of Saki from the original, he's following in his fathers footsteps he has infected blood which makes him half human half ruffian. Look into the story.
