  • 0:35 possessed by the drum gods.

  • I'm going to see them in a couple of weeks and I can't even express how fucking excited I am

  • @MmeBooshnoir i thought they werent together anymore?

  • @xjustin523x Well I don't know if they ever broke up at one point, but they're touring right now and just released Life Fantastic so I'd say they're together. :)

  • @MmeBooshnoir well thats a relief

  • @xjustin523x Lol yeah

  • cocaine's a hell of a drug

  • the best band making music today

  • Sounds like the swedish band Samla Mammas Manna :)

  • @Octopuzey now that you mention it,yeah they do.

  • one of the best bands i have ever seen. they are hysterical live

  • The drummer is high, as always.

And all you people talking crap about them, you put out music as successful as them and then you can talk. Until then, keep your mouth shut.

  • I was front row, they were opening, he spat on me... was gross

  • how the fuck is the crowd just standing there?

  • @misfitsmhm because the crowd is from LA and the music doesn't explain itself...

  • Tom Waits meets Modest Mouse with falceto backup singers.

  • Tom Waits meets Frank Zappa meets Captain Beefheart.

  • @ncgtr Never thought about that before, but that explains why I can't get enough.

  • OMFG...i'm in Loooooooove! <3

  • mr bungle + tom waits, on a good day =D

  • @sexyby2001 yeah, exactly what I thought when I first heard them :D

  • @sexyby2001 could there be a finer combination?

  • i love how they realize the importance of spectacle

  • only thing to compare tehm to is maybe a crazy mix of tom waits, the lips, and beck

  • They stole my name

  • ^.^; How can anyone talk down Man Man? What are you comparing it to? I havn't found too much that even come close to touching Man Man's genre or style. I saw them live, very entertaining show. It's not an act, it's how they are. They are crazy as hell.

  • hella good song, but i think Doo Rights my fav on the album. for some reason that song just gets to me

  • @LaddersIntoLeitrim I still like to imagine dudes in bands just being like, I have this awesome idea for a song. without getting all meta about it.

My mutant power is idealism, I fully realize extinction is imminent.

  • your an idiot.

  • I'm seeing these guys in dallas in a little under 2 weeks. This show is going to blow my mind all over the venue.

  • so cartoooooony. fackin lav themmmmm

  • Man Man is the shit!

I can't believe i missed them by a day a bumbershoot, and it's lame they aren't doing coachella this year because i'm probably going.

  • the influence of the Beefheart/Zappa/Waits trio is true, but the Man Man are another thing...

  • you suck

  • sorry

  • Why listen to Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart when you can listen to Man Man?

  • You wont be saying that in two years (or less) when everyone who likes this band realizes how much they suck and that all they were was hype. there will be like thousands of man man cds in clearance bins around the nation.

  • I don't know how you think you know that will happen, for all you know we could be fans for many, many more years.

  • all i know is they're about the best live band i've ever seen.

  • Are you serious? Maybe Gogol Bordello not MAN MAN. See these guys live then you will retract this statement. They're not some band like SHINY TOY GUNS that are just kitschy bullshit cashing in on an image, they're incredibly talented musicians and performers. You can suck zit shit friend.

  • days of yore? what is that some DAUGHTRY lyric?

  • I'd say that for a lot of people this style will get old. Me personally, I will always respect these guys, Gogol Bordello and all the rest for nothing else but the pure, raw energy they put out in their music and on stage. It's primal.

  • no its a cliche' i thought that would be the best form of expression to use when talking to such a firm supporter of mediocrity.

  • that's cool man, you got your opinion. i got mine.

  • step 1 get laid

    step 2 do some drugs

    step 3 enjoy this music

just lighten up! why do you find it necessary to talk down on a band/scene that you don't enjoy/understand? they are so far from "hipster" its ridiculous, they are making unique and enjoyable music that comes from the heart. i am in no way a "hipster" or whatever, i enjoy many bands of various genres, it's easier to criticize and hate on a band than it is to take the time to open your mind and enjoy it for what it is.

  • i hate incubus and i hate organized sports... so whatever. its not even worth arguing. i enjoy this band, you don't. i just dont understand why you would be watching/commenting on their videos in the first place.

  • Just saw em at meredieth it was sooo goood

  • it seems like there just doing there thing and there just happens to be people watching them.

  • they are so cool

  • Goodness, I'm seeing them the 20th at the Blue Bird as well, and I cannot wait. Look for the girl in an indian costume :]

  • this guy i was standing next to was looking at you and said something about shooting his gun. He was crazy as shit.

  • really? well, i ended up not coming in my indian costume. lame. but, i was surely up there next to the crazy cool guy in dreads ha. what a trippy night.

  • we are going to see them Oct. 20th at The Blue Bird in St. Louis. And Oct 22nd at The Mercy Lounge in Nashville. Man Man is blowing up, down, and all around the music scene!

  • pow pow ftw

  • definately one of the more entertaining/fun bands at coachella this year. awesome

  • that was so good

  • The animation by Ann Orrin about this song is good too

  • Saw them in Denver on the 20th... Honus drummed on my scalp during the show. that was amazing

  • i saw them in phoenix the night after this and talked to em about this show. why the hell is this crowd so tame?

  • Uh, because it was over 100 degrees and heat = lethargy, perhaps?

  • true. my mistake.

  • I was at this show Waiting for Scars on Broadway to play.

It was my first time ever seeing a band like these guys and honestly I think they were great.

    They were very energetic.

  • I was by the entrance to the tent and I was dancing. would have loved to be in front.

  • fuck noo they dont suck

they should of fuckign headlined instead of jack johnson wtf was that i bet u whent to go see jack johnson

    singing upside down

  • @josejose22 hey cmon jack johnson is pretty great

  • u loser.

  • this crowd is just sad

they dotn deserve to see man man live fuckk

i would of been going fucking nuts ass fuckk

  • if it's any consolation i was going nuts in the front, but i am very short so you can't see me

  • Ditto, I was up front and goin nuts, and I assumed everyone behind me was doin the same. Now I'm watchin this video and i'm like "what the fuck??!! Why does everyone behind me look castrated??!!"

  • ahhaha if i would of whent i would of gone fuckign insane since their my favorite band

but ur lucky u even whent
