I believe that in principle, a union is a good thing, but not when there is a cartel or monopoly involved, or when the government is involved. Most of these union laborers are doing some kind of service for the city or state, like bus drivers, garbage collectors, postal workers, etc. And their unions have artificially fixed the price of labor for their particular job, so what ends up happening is the city is having to pinch every penny just to pay some loaf a million dollar annual salary.
And the fact is, a lot of these city/state blue collar jobs are NOT laborious. They are mostly sit-on-ass jobs where you rip tickets or pull a lever. And even if some of them are back-breaking, they certainly are not deserving of a million dollars of tax-payer money, especially when a competing company could do the same service for much less money and STILL pay their employees a more than decent wage.
So,this is how much U.S. Govt. wants their citizens to know the truth. And this is "free speech" country that we were being listening about all of our lives. While living In Communism we were dreaming about being part of that free World, but now I see that this is just another lie. No free speech, no democracy , nothing, just a big huge lie. And it's falling just like "good old Communism" . It's sad how easily humans are being manipulated.

Not bailing out the banks and passing the stimulus would have probably caused a nationwide depression rather than a recession. Schiff wants the US to produce more, but that is in fact a long term strategy that has to be supported by higher investment and a higher savings rate by US consumers. This would mean high unemployment today for the sake of a richer America in the future.

I have a friend who is being audited & owes the IRS over $60,000 because a CPA who was(although she didn't know it)under fraud investigation at the time that he gave her advice to change from a sole proprietorship to a S Corporation, she did and then she used her business debit card to buy groceries & they nailed her for FRAUD ~I've tried to get her to watch it and she won't. I believe that in principle, a union is a good thing, but not when there is a cartel or monopoly involved, or when the government is involved. Most of these union laborers are doing some kind of service for the city or state, like bus drivers, garbage collectors, postal workers, etc. And their unions have artificially fixed the price of labor for their particular job, so what ends up happening is the city is having to pinch every penny just to pay some loaf a million dollar annual salary.

And the fact is, a lot of these city/state blue collar jobs are NOT laborious. They are mostly sit-on-ass jobs where you rip tickets or pull a lever. Labor unions where folks get maybe 13-15hr are usually working in outdoor conditions doing many differernt jobs. sometimes construction clean-up to framing buildings. theres union commercial roofers where they work w/dangerous chemicals. Why wait till it falls? Stand up and rally your neighbors hold public outings tell them whats happening. Not bailing out the banks and passing the stimulus would have probably caused a nationwide depression rather than a recession. Schiff wants the US to produce more, but that is in fact a long term strategy that has to be supported by higher investment and a higher savings rate by US consumers. This would mean high unemployment today for the sake of a richer America in the future.

It was an interview half way around the world, and it did go on for some time. Perhaps they really just lost the satellite signal. Not everything has to be a conspiracy. Moreover, they knew who he was (he is a regular contributor to CNBC) and let him on the show anyway, so you have to give CNN International credit for that in the first place.
