Also check out the Video Response below where we were also following Colin McRae. My co-driver even got out of the car when they stopped at a traffic light and said something silly to Colin :P I'm telling you... It's real :)

This was all during the Rally of Germany in 2003, between the stages. Think about it... How else do they get from stage to stage? ;)

This highway has a speed limit, but not 70mph...luckily for us, lol!

The Dutch and German highways have a speed limit around the 75mph, but 'we' usually drive a little faster then that and so did the WRC cars. I think they did 90mph and above.

The reason we could follow Markko Martin and Petter Solberg in Germany was because it was between the stages. So when they go from stage to stage, they also use the road, just like everybody else... Cool eh? :D

Yep they have to drive to some stages which means that they have to use public roads and highways =) That's why WRC cars need to have a permission for the road like an every day car. This is what I like about this sport. These guys aren't like Formula 1 drivers who you can only see on the racetrack :D
