How is it that Matt Good constantly makes my heart feel like it's going to jump out of my chest? He rocks me ever so gently, this song is no different. He's constantly amazing me.

This goes out towards that idiot who claims that he has known Matthew Good for well over twenty years even though Matthew Good has only been around for fifteen years. I also find it funny that this guy who claims that he not only knows Matthew Good for well over twenty years, but he never makes any mention of numerous members leaving the band, and that the only member who remained with Matthew Good was the last replacement of the band who is no longer with Matthew Good anymore

There were 4 albums before Beautiful Midnight (LOTGA, Raygun, Underdogs,Lo-fi), so before you start in on other people for .. whatever you were raging about .. you might want to check your own facts. He had a career long before Beautiful Midnight ... that just might be when you hopped on the bandwagon.
I heard this song for the first time live, during his acoustic tour (which I believe was sometime halfway between WLRRR and Hospital Music). It's been one of my favourites ever since. After hearing 5+ different demo versions, I was afraid that I'd have demoitis. Luckily, the final version of this song is even more impressive than any of his demos were.
Hospital Music propelled him from Canadian obscurity to being on talk shows on the U.S. networks. He made huge money from it. I'm astonished by your comments about it.
I remember being little an hearing Matthew Good on the radio all the time. Now im older takes me back to when i was just a kid :')
