Hello my friend. I just bought my first Bonsai, a Fukien Tea, and i am new at this. Please, could you give me some advice in order for me not to ruin the tree? Like, how many times to water her, how to do it, fertilizers, etc. Thank you.
hi. I am trying to grow my Fukien tea tree just now. It is still quite small and I am trying to encourage growth. Is it recommended to remove all the flowers to encourage branch and trunk growth? thanks

Hi Jerry I just stumbled upon your video, while searching for info on our bonsai and it is fantastic, thanks so much. My daughter bought a 14 year old fukien tea bonsai and I have a few doubts about it's pot and trimming it off too
agan thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us
Hey Jerry! I am only on this seventh installment, but I am already addicted to the series! I will be getting a couple Ficus neriifolia for my birthday next month and I plan to use sphagnum as the medium after hearing your results and the comments left here! I just wanted to say that I really like fukien teas and that this was a very entertaining episode with the bloody hand and the entailing references...I laughed out loud and learned at the same time. Thank you.
Hi, great video! I'm very new to bonsai, and mine is a small 7 year old Fukien Tea. I noticed that it's growing branches everywhere so I'm glad to see they are easy to prune and shape. I'm wondering, how long does it take for them to grow from a cutting? And how would you know if your tree has outgrown its pot?
Hi. I just first would like to say thank you for sharing you methods. I am a little new to bonsai but have read a lot and also learned a lot from you videos. I currently have a fukien tea, juniper, black olive and a malphighia. MY main concern is fertilizing. I do not know what I can use for all 3 of them. Can you please help me out. I was told fukien teas do not like certain types. Can you please help me out. Thank you for your great videos.
Jermeynor- There are many ways to do things. If you don't like his method, don't use it. Clearly it works for him, and that is why his is sharing the method.
Thanks for posting these videos. I switched over to this method about 3 months ago after I watched your first video. The results are amazing, my boxwoods are growing twice as fast as they were growing in Kittydama.
Are you selling any of your rooted Fukien tea cuttings? I'm having an extremely hard time finding Fukien tea where I live.
Hi, Sorry for the delay in responding. It's great to hear about your boxwoods. Funny thing is I find them to be about the slowest growing tree that I have. As for Fukien Tea cuttings, they would never survive a mailing. All you need is one Fukien Tea and you can make many many more from that one. You may find rooted seedlings on the internet. Perhaps you can find one at a garden shop. I have seen them there occassionally. Good luck.
This response is typical of a jobbernowl who criticizes without explanation or logical thought. He explains none of his expertise in this particular area, but is quick to take a shot at someone who has worked with it for 20+ years. If you don't like it, for whatever imagined reasoned, then don't do it.Why discourage someone else's chance of enjoyment because you have a closed mind with the denity of a neutron star.Your spelling and punctuation are wrong too, just like you. Let's see your bonsai.
Don't listen to Jeremy, your videos have helped me get started so much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and thanks for keeping bonsai alive. Give me 20 years and I hope I am as good as you.
Hi, Sorry for the deay in getting back to you. My moy\ther has been qute sick. Thanks for the comments. They are truly appreciated. Enjoy it for the next 40 years. Jerry
