  • Great conductor - well done!!

  • this always makes me think of the movie "Airport"--they used this storm interlude very effectively as the theme music.

  • @windstorm1000 the drowning scene music from the time machine by garcia sounds like this thats clip 6 if you watch the whole movie in youtube

  • was this taken with an iphone? i recognise that sound quality!

  • This is my favourite movement.

    Thanks for the post.

  • Went to this at His Majesty's Theatre in Perth, Australia yesterday. Magnificent performance. I swear there are some films that use the main motif.

  • Wow!! Excellent playing and conducting here! I love this piece - Britten is amazing.

  • Britten is the best! Can anybody post his Passacaglia from Peter Grimes if they have it?

  • d00d if anyone has a video of Sunday Morning from the Sea Interludes, go ahead and upload, greatly appreciated.

  • thanks for posting this! i've been looking for a video of this song

  • Great! - the orchestra's sound, the conductor and Britten's music!

  • Send this clip to someone who loves music and thinks classical music is dull and opera silly.

By the way, current production of Peter Grimes at the Met is superb.

  • I first encountered this opera yesterday at the Met in HD broadcast, and am convinced that this particular composition influenced Bernstein in A Boy Like That. Does anyone else hear it?

  • I love the sea interludes and Peter Grimes. Can someone post the interlude that sounds like waves and sea gulls on a beach. I think its the 3rd interlude at the bigining of Act III.

  • Inspiring,

    Thanks.
