cleaning a geoduck is one thing.. no one talks about the kill them before peeling them... I think killing them fist before yu stick a knife into them..

@tafeykey that's the center. you can eat it but can be toxic if the water it comes from is polluted. and if you do eat it you shouldnt eat alot of it because of all the things the Geoduck sucks/filters out of the water.

Those breadcrumbs, the japanese ones are often branded Panko bread crumbs. So look out for it, it's specially made for breading.

Geoduck clams grow as big as 5 foot. (human size) Very popular in Japan (sushi bars) and China as delicasy. The ones served (sliced and raw called "sashimi" style) at Japanese sushi bars are about 12 to 15 inch long. Delicious!
