  • LOVE Virtua Fighter! Outside of Soul Calibur probably the best 3D fighter... Kage and Leon were my go to fighters...

  • VF4 should have been on xbox or gamecube. the PS2 already had the great tekken series, so i really don't see why sega would put VF on the same consoles as probably their biggest competitor

  • Cool video.

  • Gamecast lol

  • el blaze or w.e only maskd luchador player from a fighting game i like lol streetfighter one sux

  • Got nothing on Soul calibur on Dreamcast :)

  • @450jin no tekken is

  • totally have that shirt

  • lol virtua fighter 5 is $5 at gamestop for PS3

  • I know all about that boxing game "4-d boxing" and it was horrible even in 1993 on DOS! Makes me also think of Rise of The Robots and One Must Fall 2011 or somethin like that... I first saw Virtua Fighter in the same arcade I played MK-I & II and was f*ckin' amazed by all!!! GREAT VID DUDE! :)

  • My favorite fighting game is Soul Caliber9I like fighting games with weapons). But I too like Virtual Fighter(more than Tekken)because is very hard to master.I always use Jacky.

  • my favorite virtua fighter was always jacky i went through the virtua fighter 2 a million times and the strange thing was i was only like 6 or 7 years old and i think virtua fighter 2 is the best fighting game in my opinion and the best virsion of them all intill i get 5 that is muhahahahahahahahahahahaha i will pwn you all using jacky!!!! hahahahahahaha!!!

  • so you dont like tekken =O

  • 6;24 You are so right. Playstation is Nintendo's Bitch. They still overprice the system though.

  • I have the Saturn. I have one of those Demo CDs that have like 15 different previews on it, and Fighting Vipers 2 is on it. They show it off good, especially when the Guitar guy kicks the Hockey player's ass through a fence at the end. At the time, I thought that was badass.

  • awesome, great great virtua fighter review. I bought a saturn just because of Virtua Fighter. My all time favorite fighter as well. I have all of them accept 3 since I never got a dreamcast. 2 was my fave as well. Oh and Fighters Megamix was great fun, have that one still boxed away, LOVED THAT GAME!

  • yes sir, good ol funtown

  • OMG the last game!

  • 4 was the best one

  • Virtua Fighter 1 4ever ;)

  • i need to get a sega saturn

  • yo i picked vf5 up at blockbuster for like 6 bucks yesterday sweet deal.

  • Who is your favourite fighter?

  • Pai is my fav

  • Akira is my fav!

  • @jumblejunkie and where's the Evolution?(kinda reminds me of Tekken)

  • Excellent Review like you I love the VF series. And VF5 is definitely worth picking up. My Favourite VF game has to be VF3 probably because it missed the Saturn but eventally made its way to Dreamcast but is so different to the rest of the series. Fingers crossed for Virtua Fighter 5 R which could do with a home console release some time in the near future!

  • Love Virtua Fighter. Not TOO big on VF5, but me and my crew still hit up VF4 and VF3 to this day.

  • 3 was my personal favorite :)

  • you should do the sonic the hedgehog series for your 20th review

  • I think Virtua comes from Virtua Racer the original game that used the then-new 3d engine... Man, VF is surely becoming my favorite fighting game. Used to get beat on VF1 and VF2 in the arcade. didn't quite figure the system at the time. Now I'm picking up on VF3tb and it's amazing, can't wait to try the other installments (as soon as I get an X360)

  • NAPALM DEATH!

  • Vf and Sf are the only 2 fighters that exist 2 me.Great Review!

  • do u think u will ever do a fighting vipers review?

  • yes sir! Fighting Vipers is definitely on my list of games to review

  • My Favorite review from you

  • I hope you played Final Tuned since it was only released in Japanese arcades.

  • why do you suck at it then :P

(dont point out that you beat me please)

  • you like this more than street fighter? :O seriously

  • yah man, me and VF go WAY back

  • thank you 4 the nice compilation!! maybe you can add VF5R in your next vid... if it comes 2 console any day... ^_^ let us pray, guys...

  • Dude! I love the Virtua Fighter series. If you have an Xbox Live account hit me up. Also who do you use? I'm a Kage player myself.

  • I am a Pai player. Thats why you see her alot on this video

  • Now on to my other question, what's your gamertag?

  • I'm a Lion player. In VF 4 & 5 I tend to use Aoi as well.

  • Nice Napalm Death shirt!

  • Awesome video. I'm subscribing.

  • excellent work

  • 4-D Boxing was awesome, I used to play that game all the time.

  • Want to point out that that this game was a religion in Japan. From VF 2 to mid VF 4, it was at the #1 position in the arcade charts for five years. Sad that only hardcore gamers know about Virtua Fighter outside of Asia. Been playing since 1993 when it first came out. Thanks for acknowledging a great series.

  • very cool comment bro.! VF 4 ever!

  • LOL I love Jumblejunkie!!

And you all owe me 25 dollars for using that phrase.

    Untill next timez!

  • 2:29 to 2:35 had me laughing so much.

Loved the video, and I saw you playing Virtua Fighter 5 the other day, heh. I'm going to go try and pick up a copy real soon.

  • hmm i think i might buy number 5

  • There's no L in Virtua because the Japanese can't pronounce their L's. What do you think sounds better "Virtua Fighter" or "Virtuar Fighter"?

  • yea i love 3tb. i never was massive on soul calibur.

  • I didn't know "until next time" was a catchphrase, someone should copyright that shit! Seriously people he's not copying anyone.

  • I pity the fool...

  • HappyConsoleGamer I mean JumbleJunkie you forgot about the portable versions of Virtua Fighter lol... "Until next time... haha HCG should be flattered to see his format and catch phrase being taken. Thats quite bold of you. The expectations from your mentor and his subs will totally not be riding high. No pressure HCGlite!! We won't judge...

  • watch all my videos, I always say Until next time before i knew who HCG was.

  • "Until next time," is not a catch phrase, I've heard that used by countless television and radio show hosts. And what format are you referring to? Reviewing video games on YT? I guess I'm a HCG rip-off too then (rolls eyes).

  • The way he says it. Might sound like a reach but its there. Not an awful thing to want to garner more charisma into his vids by mirroring some1 he looks up 2. Its just funny.

"Until Next time is not a catch phrase"

If you were nigger rich it could be and any other reviewer out there who uses it ONLY at the end of a video game review would have to pay you. Just like any other ref has to pay Micheal Buffer who uses "Lets get ready to ruumble!" before a fight. Ah aint semantics great. LOL!

  • no virtua quest?

  • nope, i just did the ones I own

  • Awsome review junkie!

  • Good times man. I have that game on the saturn I suck so bad at it.

  • That was an awesome review man, very well done!

Ever tried Virtua Quest by the way? It's also a spin off of the serries and more like an action RPG thingy. It's pretty shitty though... but still interesting for fans of the serries I supose.

  • I never played it. I actually almost picked it up the other day, but as it is I have enough games to play! LOL

  • Awesome review. I've only ever played Virtua Fighter 2, I ought to check out the others.

  • hahah great review man!!

  • Awesome review. Virtua Fighter is also my favorite fighting game series.

My favorite character to use is Vanessa? What's yours?

  • my favorite is Pai. I use Wolf alot too

  • Main problem with Virtua Fighter is that it's just so difficult sometimes it's disgusting :)

VF5 definitely holds its own yes, I always said it looks a lot better graphically than Soulcalibur IV and I'll stick to that.

  • hohoho UNTILL NEXT TIME!!

  • So even you think he ripped you off? lol XD

  • nobody ripped off anyone. HCG and I are pals. Until next time is the most common phrase ever

  • I know, I was only joking!

  • damn this internet trickery!!! ;)

  • Very awesome review man. I remember seeing a Dreamcast on display at a store. It was displaying VF3. I was in total awe. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was beautiful. When I saw that I did the scene from Wayne's World in the middle of the store. "It will be mine. Oh YES. It will be mine." And sooner or later it was lol.

  • wow that was a very comprehensive review! top notch as usual buddy. 5 stars

  • "Shit I knocked that over..."

    LOL!

    Do you like DOA4?

  • Yeah the DOA series is good too. I have DOA3 for X-Box

  • NICE

    NAPALM DEATH shirt

I can see your pumped for their upcoming album =)

  • lol I only have virtua fighter 2 but I really want to try the first since I want to learn more about the series..

I like to start at their original before the sequel.

    another excellent review as always

    "until next time"

  • nicce reveiw tim lol pi sounds like a japanese alvin and the chipmunk

  • I think you would have to be the only person who says virtua fighter is their fav.

  • haha i know of one other in real life shhhh!! lol

  • Awesome series review Tim.

  • I hate it that you have to wait an hour before the HQ button.

  • vf5 will be distroyed by the power of teken 6

    hhahahah

man sega was the best back then now there not that great but with games like madworld things are looking bright for segas future and maybe a rise to power muhahaha thats probably your dream huh?

  • haha Madworld does look cool.

I like the Tekken games too! I played the first one in the Arcade ALOT. Nina was my favorite!
