@samsunggirl55 Ok, but it is wonderful compared to what? Mine worked about 10 times before it developed a problem that could not be fixed without spending money on it. If you watch my review of my eMachines mini notebook, you will see that I do like the mini netbook, but the Acer just had too many problems and cost more than it was worth.

Everyone voted to smash it, I would have preferred to shoot it, oh well. In a nutshell: I saved $30 by buying a refurbed one, and after using it 12 times, it died. There is no warranty, it expired 3 months before I bought it. I made several videos where I had people here on YT try to help me get it going again, but after trying just about everything, it still had the same problem. As a writer, I can't risk my work on junk that will die at any moment, the people voted, and this is the result.

About 10 years ago, I did a review of some products on a website I ran. The guy was so mad at my review, that he contacted me and asked if he could send me another of his products to review. To make a long story short, he pooped in a plastic bag and sent it for me to review. His mistake of course was that he used his actual return address...and that was a big mistake on his part☺☻☺

This was a refurb, and it died within the first month. Acer is known for low end affordable products, but I thought I would take a chance on this one because I really didn't want to spend a lot. I loved the size of this mini, although as a writer I found it difficult to write on it for more than a couple of hours at a time. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received, and I got more help from other people here on YT than I ever got from Acer.

If you do want a mini, many companies make them so you are not limited to an Acer. Also, I would suggest that you stay away from a refurbished unit. This one was a refurb and it stopped working after about 12 uses, and apparently it did not have a warranty as I was led to believe. After my experience with this one, I cannot currently see myself ever trusting Acer quality again.

Just stay away from Acer. Dell and HP also make a mini, and even Dell's not so good quality, is better than Acer quality.

If I can afford it, I might even buy an Apple mini netbook, but right now I am way too poor.
