oh geeze, yeaaah I've hand rotoscoped about 5min worth of video-footage... though never in flash.. I heard its a fuck ton harder in that program than photoshop and then exporting as a .mpg or gif. mostly I tend to hand-paint the rotoscoped part and cut out any floating.

Having done a very short rotoscope animation (which took me hours for just two seconds of footage!) I can totally appreciate this. You did it very smoothly, and the colours make it much better (rather than just doing outlines). Very nice!

I find this stuff interesting, but it would have had more value if you actually drew every frame rather than copying and pasting previous drawings on other frames. I noticed this with the eye seeming to float around and a few other things.

what software did you use? and can you use Adobe Flash to make rotoscope animations?

@lilZeeRocker We used Adobe Flash to rotoscope everything, every frame was hand "drawn" with wacom tablets :)

I LOVE IT! I've been a huge fan of rotoscoping after I discovered Ralph Bakshi and Richard Linklater. But definitely loving this one, the themes behind it are very much universal in this day and age. Alienation from our own world.

Anyways, I absolutely dig it, and I'm glad you dig my tunes, definitely keep an eye out for more from me, and I'll do the same for you. =)

I see your point there, its not full of bright shining colors, and we kind of had to narrow it down when it came to using shadows and stuff, takes alot of time too make more than just a single color on a character. But Thanks :D

haha :D I'm glad you like it. Well thats an issue with alot of youtube videos. To get alot of views on this site, you have to have unrelated tags and a picture of a half-naked girl halfway into the video:P I'm quite happy with a 100 views, its not A LOT but its ok. This video has aired for about 10 seconds on a Norwegian tv channel, on a film festival Called "amandus" Nominated for best animation so i cant really complain. But we didnt win though :P
