It doesn't matter whether the guy you are interviewing is good guy or bad. Its not the way to interview someone. Its the same attitude by holding gun on his head and order "say something". In Pakistan we feel joy "look he ran away" but we don't consider our own attitude.

Is it the media's job to implement the Constitution? Is the media's job to punish those who are considered to have violated the Constitution? How is the media going to make "example" of those who are considered to have committed violations. Is a reporter a judge and the prosecutor too?

Personal opinions, grudges aside, the point here is, was the former general willing to give answers? Is it ethical to hound someone to extract questions?

this reporter got da balls. he carried on da conversation while throwing relevant questions all the way . gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood job he has got it. he shud be given a pay rise or a promotion . although he ws chipko but he glued very cautiously without making himself a fool but making da general an ass.!

The retired General is basically a coward. I am sure the likes of him would run if the Indians attack. Following illegal and criminal orders is not a defense. Not since Nuremburg trials.

The Pakistan Army has been advancing the wrong kinds of officers and this characterless kind have moved up.

They cannot make war and cannot make peace. The entire security paradigm is false and designed to benefit generals and has in fact made the country very weak and vulnerable.

I think every journalist has a right to ask questions but every news maker involved has a right to answer in his or her own fashion, or maybe not answer at all. But sometimes it seems enthusiasm, lack of professionalism, an error of judgement, or an outright quest for producing a sensational piece of news get the better of a reporter. Editors, specially in an organization like this one, which is considered reliable, should have their eyes open.

Dear sir, the Generals who never cared for constitution and the rights while violating and dismissing an elected Govt. should be asked questions like this and they should be made example by the media and the civil society that in future these kind of adventures should be avoided.

@az22able I think Logaijan point is valid in general but not for this particular video as this general has been asked for what has effected the whole nation
