Awesome dude.........i m in United States now, but wen i heard this beutiful composition in Raag Marwa...its just like i m in Jaipur for 8 mins & 27 secs......great work...
very soulful...your instrument has a wonderful tone to it and you play beautifully...
I love this composition and must have heard at least 15 to 20 attempts of Kesariya Balam by other people on flute, veena and other instruments but I must say I liked your's the best...amazing work...
I was just a little miffed at your reference to Dor as the inspiration for the song whereas this is an age old folk song...it is really good to see a "westerner" show such interest in Indian music...as an Indian I appreciate and thank you for your interest...
I know this song was used in the movie Dor but I was replying to Dhavlena's comment about the song being Dor inspired while you've already mentioned hearing it on SA RE GA MA PA and playing it since

"Dor-inspired"???
This is a Rajasthani folk song...

Varun ji - Thank you for your kind words.
"dor-inspired" :
This song is also in the sountrack of the movie : "Dor"
and I have another video of another song from that movie - hence the reference.

Hello - by "Dor-inspired" I meant that this is
where this westerner heard it. Although I would very much like to be more knowledgable as concerns this music, not much is played here.
Apologies for my lack of knowledge,
