  • does ns7 will last?

  • @jepoychelsey I think so!...I have had it for over 2 years....and no problems, with the exception of the crossfader bleeding a little. Other than that, it has been great! Im glad I sold my 12's to get this....no regrets what-so-ever! You should buy one....or at least try it out....

  • Wtf !! Lol this discussion in here is ridiculous !! Did you not see the video of him scratching to a hip hop beat !! I dont see any faulty thier and if you close your eyes and listen !! Your not gonna tell the difference if it came from technics or a numark !! Now thier realesing the ns6 haha .. Niice .. All it takes is one big dj to put his name on it and trust itll be sold for all you people haha

  • put it this way... if youre NOT using 1200's (with or without serato)... THEN THIS IS THE ONLY OTHER PIECE OF EQUIPMENT YOU SHOULD USE.. im not gonna lie.. i love my NS7

but you cant escape the fact that tech 1200's and serato.. are IN EVERY CLUB across the country.. and a lot of clubs wont even let you DJ if you dont use there stuff.. TRUST me i know first hand..

so its really all about what/where youre going to be DJing.. END OF DISCUSSION

  • @VikTheRebel hey bro...I agree with you, 12's are in almost every club out there.....right now at least. I don't know if this is true, but I have heard from several people that technics isn't selling 12's no more. So what is going to replace 12's??...only time will tell, however, I have tried every other option from pioneer's, vestax vci300, traktor s4, and nothing comes close to this! I personally love spinning on 12's, but I hate lugging 'em around, hooking up the wires, etc.

  • I bought the ns7 and returned it three days later. People say its the future..lol yeah untill the new controller comes out. Im a club dj and every club has techs because they last and are universally accepted among deejays. The ns7 will never be the industry standard! Its great for what it is but I dont see these taking over the clubs unless you wanna lug it there. Id rather just bring my sl1 and laptop

  • every equipment we use for djing will have some sort of flaw.. get use too it.. my 1200 never failed on me until one night in the middle of my gig.. the platters speed changed all crazy and this was before serato. I'm using serato now.. so far so good.. but shit happens.. get use to it wheather its analog or digital.

  • YOUR GOOD BRO TECHNICS NS7 NUMARKS WHEN YOU HAVE THE WORD SERATO OR TRAKTOR ITS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE THE SAME IS ORIG PRESSED RECORDS ITS ALOT EASIER THESE DAYS TO DJ WHEN YOU MATCHING BEAT COLORS AND WAVES THAT YOUR WATCHING ON A SCREEN NOT LIKE YEARS AGO WHEN YOU HAD TO HEAR AND MARK EVERYTHING

  • i agree..technics do take a lot of skill..i used 1200's for years and years...and i loved my rane ttm56, however i didn't love lugging 'em around! Once I tried out the NS7, and felt how solid and accurate it was, as well as all the features on it, I had to purchase one. I purchased it 1 week after it was released and I haven't had one problem with it!! A few months later I sold my 12's, rane ttm56, serato, vestax07..and im not regretting it at all! This is going to be the new industry standard!

  • @POOKADU funny i did the same and i feel the same about the ns7

  • I will neva shit on Tecnic! thats the flyest shit and that shit takes real fucken skill! but those things came out in the 70's! I love em, but it's time to fucken move on!

  • I think the new technology is cool and I don't knock no DJ for what he chooses to use as his tool to rock a crowd but you gotta remember with all this new technology comes gliches. I'm still a old school fool I prefer the 1200's, Serato and a CDJ for back up so if the Serato ever crashes or freezes hit the CDJ or pull out the old trusty vinyl.

  • nice what I was thinking of getting the VCI from Vestax but this is what I'm lookin for, NS7!!!

  • Some people will never give up the fact that in with the new out with the old.You can keep it real and keep your 1200's and tote your records I've been there done that it's time to move into the future.Besides records cost to damn much.

  • no one cares what you use to produce your music cdj, vinyl, midi, comp, or timecode. The only thing that matters is the music you put out to the audience, not how you produce it :)

  • @Persianbmw94 this is false...I have both NS7 and 1200's

I got gigs strictly from people liking the needle to the record

approach. You older people who have money and contract,

also are nastalgic. i love the digital medium it allows for alot

of creativity. The 1200's are a feel, a vibe, not to mention better

sound through analog. Real Audiophiles know this. It is scientific.

if you learn on real turntables you will better when you jump to NS7.

    Assuming you put in work.

    Peace-DJ Nacho

  • hands down this changes the game like invention of sliced bread...ive been a technics and vestax fanatics hardcore since 92....i bought my NS7 yesterday..the convinience of this machine just crushed all competitors bar none!! $1300 bucks well spent...btw i sold all of my 1200,vestax, even unused records earlier this year...havnt miss them one second AT ALL...yo this NS7 ----dont knock it till u try it...its the FUTURE and it is here now for only $1300

  • just another numark product with all the lights and flashy chrome colors on ,with that money you could of got some technics bro!!!!

  • lets see u scratch with a needle. CDs are for skirts. 1200s all day.

  • Stop being so narrow-minded. These things are much more favorable in a club scene due to the amount of music available to the DJ. They save you money in the long run since you don't have to buy records. They are an example of technology moving forward so get your head out of the 80s man. I'm a scratch DJ and these things have both great scratching and great mixing capabilities.

  • The concept - at least - is awesome - and essentially perfect for this kind of needleless approach - and the actual NS7 product is nearly perfect, as well.

  • The PERFECT blend of new-school technology and old-school style and control.

    Numark is an INCREDIBLE company.

  • I loved the whole scratching part.....and I meant the whole thinig, from zero to eternity. NS7 demolilshes the technics with the superpower of superman. Same for pioneers.

  • Pretty Cool, Guitar Center Called Me Earlier Today and Said My NS7 Has Arrived!!!! I'm Having Second Thoughts...

  • awesome!

  • one of the best dj's I've heard lately!!!
