My uncle Martin Hoffman wrote the music for this song and this man is the only one to sing it the Right way...Blessings upon you Michael...weavers12string
Haven't listened to much blues, man you are awesome singer and player. I love the harmonica, man can you make it talk, AWESOME!!! Yeah, a plus, I love a man with a bald head. You have won my vote for Blues
Im not a big fan of blues or jazz, but jeese this is probably the best version I have heard (including Springsteens). Id love you to do some Springsteen covers, you are something else!
whenever i think of the ignorant people like the Minutemen i remember that there are good southern people like Woody that speak for and with the immigrant people of this country
michael, you nailed it brother. Like many of woody,s songs; it's more important now than when he wrote it. I could definately hear you doing afine job of "pastures of plenty ",you should take a look at taht one. light, love &peace, Dave
As I believe I have mentioned before - MESMERIZING.
Still, no single camera can properly capture the deceptive complexities of your live performance. One can only hope a more comprehensive document of your solo work will soon be forthcoming.
Great song selection though, my brother. And sadly, still timely, eh?
Actually, Woody Guthrie wrote the music and lyrics to this song Arlo Guthrie played it for the first time shortly after his father's death.
