...you could probably get the tabs off the internet and go ahead and learn some of those solos note for note. i learned the heartbreaker solo note for note and a few others and you get so much out of it, in terms of learning technique and getting out of your comfort zone.

and the blues guys like page are great, but get some classical and jazz influenced players in there too, like steve howe and robert fripp... it'll clean up your fast picking and note selection.

damn i forgot about this song, i used to love it when i was growing up in the 80s and was pissed off at all the synthopop and i hungered for loud guitar.

anyway, you got the hammer on-pull off, third-finger-to-lower-string moves down, i'd work on stuff like sequential hammer-ons (two or more hammer-ons on the same string, followed by the same on the next string), same with sequential pull-offs, fast picking and string skipping. and some of the stuff you do is so close to note for note that...
