@squattingduck88, No, this show has been shamelessly skewed over the past several years to favor white contestants (specifically males). To me, this is a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I thought the show was at its best when it displayed the appearance of maintaining diversity. That feeling seems to be lost now even during the process of finding good contestants. I can't believe they would've had that much trouble finding a good number of non-white contestants who could sing.
