i have some Spanish videos and have some songs cut off. i also remember the Barney Safety video during the clean up scene from playing it safe, the close up shot of barney's sore tail was edited out and the red cross to the toy ambulance is censored.

@nickantibarney - Sorry, but none of those episodes are on DVD. This was from an imported DVD called 'Colours & Shapes', which also includes 'Red, Blue, and Circles, Too!'.

@Jessyleppert The two wouldn't actually kill each other though. XD In fact, Big Bird and Barney have appeared at PBS events together (including the PBS Kids Sprout launch, where they hugged one another) and seem to be on good terms, despite rivalries in the 90's (Barney's hey day).

Sorry to post so many comments, but I'm actually kind of surprised that the theme song isn't cut short, like in the international cuts of Seasons Four, Five, and Six.

@supergodzilla12 The theme song for the first three seasons was never cut short in their "international cuts." It's only something that occurs with Seasons 4-6, oddly enough.

@supergodzilla12 I have a Spanish dubbed version of "Red, Blue, and Circles Too!" (I have the Latin American edition of Colors and Shapes) and if I remember correctly, nothing was edited out, so I doubt it. Personally, if I were to get any of the Barney DVDs from the Philippines, it would be the "Sing Along with Barney" one (Basically, it's a sing along DVD (captions and all)).

I'm not surprised that "And the Green Grass Grows All Around" was cut, as it was cut in the international cut used outside of the US. It's funny how it's cut from the English version, though.

@TruelySonicHOG - You know, I find it kind of strange that they have the international versions of the 'Colours and Shapes' episodes, considering that this release was based on the home video release, not the actual TV airings, like the Season 7/8 DVDs are. Do the other episode DVDs ('Good Clean Fun!', 'Oh Brother! She's My Sister', and 'Fun on the Farm') have cut scenes? And for that matter, why'd they remove scenes, anyway?

@supergodzilla12 I believe in the Spanish version of "Good Clean Fun" they just cut off the part where Scotter McNutty trying to floss his teeth. In the Spanish version of "Oh Brother She's My Sister" Little red wagon was cut-short. I have the VCD version of "Tree-Mendous Trees" back in 6 years ago and "Growing" was cut off.
