Well, this starts with something completely totally false. I have NEVER EVER seen a double cross in Eastern Orthodoxy - there is NONE. Try Googling "Eastern Orthodox Crosses" under Google Image. They are either like the Western Cross, or they have 2 other small bars (3 in all, not 2) -one at the top where the plaque was and one at the bottom where the foot rest was.
This is getting ridiculous. As a person who is a Master Mason, I'm personally sickened by this. People who make parallels between us and Evil are ill informed. Maybe rather than making things up why don't they talk to a person who actually is a Freemason, like me. We will be honest with you, we will tell you what things mean, we just can't expose our secrets like a hand shake. Why? Because its none of your damn business, and helps us recognize each other. Scary, if you're stupid.
Why aren't they denying the origin of the symbols?
Is it to lull the people like: "Yeah the origin is from there but don't worry... that was long time ago and nowadays there's no meaning about them..." ??

The double square also represents the symbol for Hod in Kabbalah...which represents 'wisdom'...now wisdom is entirely good...so it is very contextual and circumstantial...
but is very 'wise' to be discerning about these things and to be 'aware' of how they are used and how we can use the same type of symbols for ONLY GOOD
