I was at college and did a preparation for HN in computing which I passed but didnt continue onto and HNC/D because my american g.f wants to live with me and I need a job to support her until she finds work here.
We only have one bloody life and we spend it enslaved to money, and for what..... just to get by.
And I type these comments and yet in an hours time Ill take 2 buses and 1 hour and spend £4 to go to my £5.52 per hour shitty f***ing job.
I am so depressed right now, Im being honest I really am, I HATE - DETESTE my minimum wage job, having to get out of bed even if I dont want to, even if I feel ill to serve people who make 20 times what I earn and work half the amount of hours.
I hate working for someone else, because that is what it is working FOR someone else, making someone else rich and remaining poor.
I know self employed chefs and taxi drivers who earn hundreds a day and only work if they feel like it.
I can really appreciate your honesty about the corporate world and how motivated you are to be self employed. You are proof that life doesn't get any better than managing your own time on your own schedule. Wishing you continued success. See you at the top!
Hey Iva, thanks for the kind words. At my age I find that being honest about myself and my life makes it sooo much easier to enjoy my days and sleep at night.
