@iAmSasuke1 there's actually a very subtle difference. try listening to the songs one after another and pay attention to stuff like the beginning, small details.
I was so angry when I was younger and downloaded this OST -- WAY before they made the 'complete' soundtrack~ I was like 'goddamnit, I KNOW I heard a damn xylophone in that song~ D:< And I did~ :3 It really wasn't too long ago I found that soundtrack and this song, and I almost burst into tears, I was so happy I finally found this song~ T.T
@videogamer810 Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't say ANYTHING against it, on the contrary, I even would have mind if it would have been hidden in way more melodies of FF IX as epic as it is. I just thought there still may be people out there who yet still haven't realized that it's really often hidden in other FF IX OST's too :) And sure it makes sense, even on the Worldmap :P
@Justforvisit True...that melody is really a trait d'union of the whole story. In this case the connection seems particulary straight because both Eiko and Dagger were born in Madain Sari :-) And both are summoners of course!
@Justforvisit That's right man :-) It's so sad that many people don't appreciate him just because he mainly did music for video games. Just listen to his tracks...you hear them for 10 seconds and they jump in your mind for the rest of your life. That's what they call "instant classic". And yes...Uematsu IS a genius.
I regret not having seen the "tour of the japan" concert years ago :-(
How is this any different to Eiko's theme ?
iAmSasuke1 1 week ago
@iAmSasuke1 it's not.

@iAmSasuke1 in this arrangement, you can hear garnet's theme a little more clearly, whereas in eiko's theme, it's not quiite as obvious.

Which Daughter are we talking about here?
yoshimario40 9 months ago
@yoshimario40 This is mainly Eikos theme :)
Electro2010 9 months ago
@Electro2010 I think yoshimario40 is refering to the fact that Granet is also a daughter of Madain Sira.

And again Melodys of Life hidden in another beautiful Track of FF IX ^___^

@Justforvisit It makes sense that Garnet's leitmotif would be in Eiko's song as well. They are from the same birthplace after all.
