Your exactly right about why we want you at SHOT shows. A large percentage of other SHOT videos sound and watch like commercials. You just put the info out there plain and simple for the viewer to decide. I'm sure it's a lot of work and effort, so maybe a "b-roll" overview of the booths would be more appropriate and not burn you out so much with all the work. Thanks for all the videos!

I hope you go to shot show, because we get a good feel for what is coming out, and love to listen to your comments on their new products. They must also know you by now, and know you have a built in audience that is ready to make purchasing decisions based on hearing the good/bad on their products. Plus, i'm not an expert at guns, and having you walk through giving your opinion is awesome. I loved the gun store walkthrough, it was almost as good as you going with me to the store!
@theboo222 Good comment, thank you. You are correct: the mfrs do know about TNP and have great relationships with many. Tapco is a good example. They also value the TNP audience and its quality and buying power. I strive to serve that audience and be an independent voice for high value, quality, and innovation. I love supporting the mfrs in this when they get it right. It takes risk and capital to make it happen and I want companies like that to stay in business. Much appreciated.

Do what you want as far as shot goes. Personally I'd rather watch actual gear reviews, and adventure trips. That's not to say I wont watch booth reviews.

I want Nutn and PFI to got to Shot mostly for all the B roll footage. I love seeing the back story. For example, end of day, lights are being turned off and then you guys bump into folks from booth reviews. I notice that they are a lot more candid when they're "off the clock". Please go, bud.
Another vote to go to SHOT. As others have posted, your reviews are first rate and it's kinda fun to see the vendor's reactions when you mention something you don't like or they've completely jacked up...like you said, others don't do that. There are enough gun/knife writers who never met a product they didn't love, which I know is B.S. I watch you for the real story and have made many purchases based on your recomendations, all good gear...thanks dude and keep up the good work!!

No one does a booth review like you do, if you want to keep it fresh then hit the vendors you've missed in previous years, there's a huge list I'm sure that you can think of something cool to do. My vote is do shot if you can :) I learn a whole lot about new products from your reviews, other booth reviews are just a statement from the company rep selling the reviewer the product without any sort of questions or comments or criticisms. Your style really puts them on their toes!
Nutn, you really don't have to do Shot Show if you don't want to, i agree about the overexposure thing, and im sure that if there's something good there, you'll review it in good time. I don't think we, the viewers, should pressure you into doing something you're not 100% into, because all we want are your golden, straightforward reviews. Who cares about other peoples shot show reviews? You're the only reputable gear reviewer out there. You give the best input for me to factor into my own decisions on which way my systems should go. If you don't want to go, then don't go, but don't not-go because of "saturation," I don't think that's a problem since you don't really have competition in that market. Do what makes you happy brother, Don't want you to get burnt out! Thanks for the hard work to help us all out.

On shot show- I look forward to your work at shot show and they are really the only shot show vids I watch. I don't watch the other ones for the same reason I don't really read gun mags- no meaty information.
I would appreciate it if you can go to shot show. I like your style of booth review, plus I like how you can take manufacturers to task. You force them to be honest about their designs and marketing.
Please do booth reviews but review the smaller manufactures that wouldn't normally get airtime. That way we'll have a broader perspective. I feel that unbiased insight is your forté.
Instead of going to shot show, you could always just do some cursory review from the "compound" about the stuff you know is coming out and your initial takes on them....just a thought. I loved the Gunnies vids, it such an efficient way of getting your quick opinions on a vast array of guns quickly and effectively. DO MORE OF THEM! Also, Armed Serenity shoot this winter? Those are my favorite run and guns ever.

That being said, your shotshow 2010 vid about arsenal aks changed my life...picked me up one and I love it. i thought I was going the ar-15 route and love the AK now.

Shot Show stuff is cool, but personally, I like your adventure and philosophy videos better.. Would like to see you put your time towards those. I think you need to go to Shot Show. Your are correct about all the other reviewers but they all just let the factory reps throw up their canned spiel. You question them in detail because you truly no the products and what makes them good or bad. Your booth reviews are night and day better than all the others I have seen. Please go!

My vote would be to have you concentrate on the other parts of the project that make it great...the shooting vids...hiking vids...reviews....etc...no need to cover SHOT every year...seems like that takes up a majority of your time at the first of the year...and other vids take a back seat for a while...just my two cents...

I hope you go to shot show, because we get a good feel for what is coming out, and love to listen to your comments on their new products. They must also know you by now, and know you have a built in audience that is ready to make purchasing decisions based on hearing the good/bad on their products. Plus, i'm not an expert at guns, and having you walk through giving your opinion is awesome. I loved the gun store walkthrough, it was almost as good as you going with me to the store!

@theboo222 Good comment, thank you. You are correct: the mfrs do know about TNP and have great relationships with many. Tapco is a good example. They also value the TNP audience and its quality and buying power. I strive to serve that audience and be an independent voice for high value, quality, and innovation. I love supporting the mfrs in this when they get it right. It takes risk and capital to make it happen and I want companies like that to stay in business. Much appreciated.

Please go to shot! Your booth reviews are a zillion times better than anybody else's. Most shot vids are just a minute or 2 long. I HATE those super short vids where it's just the MFG talking. No ones shot show vids compare to yours.

I want Nutn and PFI to got to Shot mostly for all the B roll footage. I love seeing the back story. For example, end of day, lights are being turned off and then you guys bump into folks from booth reviews. I notice that they are a lot more candid when they're "off the clock". Please go, bud.

Another vote to go to SHOT. As others have posted, your reviews are first rate and it's kinda fun to see the vendor's reactions when you mention something you don't like or they've completely jacked up...like you said, others don't do that. There are enough gun/knife writers who never met a product they didn't love, which I know is B.S. I watch you for the real story and have made many purchases based on your recomendations, all good gear...thanks dude and keep up the good work!!

No one does a booth review like you do, if you want to keep it fresh then hit the vendors you've missed in previous years, there's a huge list I'm sure that you can think of something cool to do. My vote is do shot if you can :) I learn a whole lot about new products from your reviews, other booth reviews are just a statement from the company rep selling the reviewer the product without any sort of questions or comments or criticisms. Your style really puts them on their toes!

Nutn, you really don't have to do Shot Show if you don't want to, i agree about the overexposure thing, and im sure that if there's something good there, you'll review it in good time. I don't think we, the viewers, should pressure you into doing something you're not 100% into, because all we want are your golden, straightforward reviews. Dude, Nutn you have to go to shot show! Your style in the booth reviews is unmatched. Even if you were to go and film some of it and maybe put together one 60 minute vid or something with the highlights or just what you liked the most - that would rock. Especially for us over the pond who don't have the chance to go ourselves! Missed the radio slot, am going to try and download the cast tomorrow!

Who cares about other peoples shot show reviews? You're the only reputable gear reviewer out there. You give the best input for me to factor into my own decisions on which way my systems should go. If you don't want to go, then don't go, but don't not-go because of "saturation," I don't think that's a problem since you don't really have competition in that market. Do what makes you happy brother, Don't want you to get burnt out! Thanks for the hard work to help us all out.

Nutn-Listened to GunTalk today. I agree that he needs to be able to allow you more time. I know the radio business needs to move along too. I felt you did TNP proud. The questions were answered well. I have personally spoke to a person of YouTube and it hard to believe death threats have been made to a few of you. In my opinion never give out your name for just very reason. Instead of going to shot show, you could always just do some cursory review from the "compound" about the stuff you know is coming out and your initial takes on them....just a thought. I loved the Gunnies vids, it such an efficient way of getting your quick opinions on a vast array of guns quickly and effectively. DO MORE OF THEM! Also, Armed Serenity shoot this winter? Those are my favorite run and guns ever.

Hey Bro...prayers sent to allie! Now for some thoughts on your vid...Shot Show. I'm in between, I've seen a lot of people copy what you do and agree with the over exposure. That being said, your shotshow 2010 vid about arsenal aks changed my life...picked me up one and I love it. i thought I was going the ar-15 route and love the AK now.

if others can do it and do it decent , let them carry that burden and devote your time to another project that isn't being done.. honestly is there anything ground breaking that you wont be checking out if you dont show?give others a chance to show they can do it..if they fail this time around, go back and school them again next time. most of the guntube are TNP even if they don't know it......

Shot Show stuff is cool, but personally, I like your adventure and philosophy videos better.. Would like to see you put your time towards those. However, I like pretty much everything you put up here, so keep up the great work. We appreciate your efforts and the information you pass along. I think you need to go to Shot Show. Your are correct about all the other reviewers but they all just let the factory reps throw up their canned spiel. You question them in detail because you truly no the products and what makes them good or bad. Your booth reviews are night and day better than all the others I have seen. Please go!

unfortunately Guntalk has only one radiostation in the Florida market and it doesn't pick up in the area I'm in (FRAK!!!! that suuuuucks) oh well just have to catch the archived on the website. thanks for lettin us know man.

Your 2011 Beretta Booth Review was one of the best booth reviews I've ever seen, and even though I had other options, yours was the best to watch. This goes for all your other booth reviews so I encourage you to go back to SHOT. That being said, you have a wonderful channel and you doing you is most important and what makes it such a good channel. Loyal supporter here with whatever decision you make. Do Not go to shot show! your time can be utilized making more great videos. Go to Shot every couple of years if you really want to. If a great new product comes up you will most likely hear about it. Keep up the great work. It motivates us to keep all of us juggling our own stuff.

My vote would be to have you concentrate on the other parts of the project that make it great...the shooting vids...hiking vids...reviews....etc...no need to cover SHOT every year...seems like that takes up a majority of your time at the first of the year...and other vids take a back seat for a while...just my two cents...

Nutnfancy, I am very grateful to have your gear reviews. You do a great job, and I love them.
That said, if you are going to whine because other people cover Shot Show, it's better that you stay home. Personally as some one that is not able to attend it, the more the better, and I will sift through to find the cream of the crop, which you ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. I hope you don't give it up just cause it's popular.
