Have you ever noticed how many city streets in Hollywood films form a T ? Sometimes they form a Z . Obviously it's to keep the outdoor sets small, but it is unrealistic.
What surprises me most about organized crime is how often they miss. Weiss couldn't kill Capone with ten cars full of machine gunners. Much later when the Bonnanos went to a truce talk they were ambushed by people with rifles and machine guns versus their pistols. Fifteen minutes of firing and no one was killed. Imagine if that ambush was set up by Navy Seals or Army black ops. Fifteen seconds and there would not have been a target left standing.
@deriter64 So true and yet how many of the good guy.bad guy scenarios in movies fits the same mould even back to the old black and white westerns when ten baddies would be chasing and shooting at the one good guy on horseback who was barely 300 yards in front, yet every shot "missed" the good guy, even though they they were all on a virtual straight road/track. Not to mention some of the ten baddies not getting hit by a stray shot from one of their own, "firing" from behind them. LMAO
Damn that punk killed Lois Lane! Man is Superman gonna be Pissed off! LOL Damn she was a hottie! On another episode of the Untouchables she wore a painted on dress! Too bad she didn't stay on Superman!
I've only watched a few episodes, but each ones has a witness who dies right after calling Ness. Instead of saying, "Stay right there," you'd think he'd be saying "Get the hell outta there you idiot!"
This is the last episode for the series executive producer Quinn Martin. He left Desilu to formed his own production company QM Productions, which became one of the most successful independent production company in the 1960's and thruout the 70's. QM produced many memorable action series such as The Fugitive, The F.B.I and The Streets of San Francisco and many others. Sold his company to Taft Broadcasting, Martin died in 1985 at the age of 65.
The truth is: Frank Nitti committed suicide in a railroad freight yard by shooting himself in the head----he didn't die by falling onto the railroad tracks for a train to run him over!!
@Redblazer500 True. Nitti died during the period of World War II - 1943 I believe, instead of 1934 when this episode sets - to avoid prosecution and possible imprisnment. In the movie The Untouchables starring Kevin Costner as Ness, Nitti is killed in another fictional manner by being thrown off a building, which occurs during Capone's trial.

Nasty way for Allison to go at 35:07...but Anthony George had to go, as he was getting ready to start a two-year run as Don Corey on "Checkmate":

If I didn't know better I'd swear that was contemporary (50's-60's) footage of an actual existing Boeing 247 Airliner.
