settings on the rams head? also do you think the compressor at the start of the chain makes a big difference to your sound? J

It's triangle. I have no more the CS2 but..... yes, the compressor must be first of chain and it's for long notes (in the solo) and for balance the output level.

Is your large beaver the older 3-knob version or the newer 4-knob (With EQ settings knob) version?

Ciao, l ho preso dal dealer europeo olandese (De Gier). Ovviamente gia assemblato perche non volevo correre rischi. L ho pagato con spedizione, assemblaggio e tasse (non c e dogana)circa 160 euro. Ma ti assicuro...... ne vale la pena!!

which beaver is it? triangle or rams head? also, were you using the bd-2 throughout?

Hi cap10random, is "triangle" in first position, is a BOMB!!! The BD-2 is before the BYOC like a boost (with low GAIN, 10.00 o'clock). I use the BD-2 instead of the expensive BK Butler.

Hi, is only triangle. The knob change 4 different tone, but even triangle specs!

How close (soundwise) is your MXR Stereo Chorus to the BOSS CE2?

Thank you jdiuurdfsds. I never had the CE-2, the MXR is very hot. The sound is very close to "Nothing else matter" or "Purple rain" intro... for example.

perhaps more like Electro Harmonix chorus? (Fat)

The CE-2 is bright with sweet harmonics.

I like it, but it doesn't have effect level. I like 50 % chorus...

MXR is very versatile with 5 knobs: bass, treble (eq.), intensity, width and rate, plus a switch to cut a chorus on bass notes. But if you want only a gilmour's sound I think is better the ce-2 or other. I prefer this because I love gilmour but with this chorus I can do many other type of music. I think ce-2 is too limited.
