When I first started learning to play the steel and built my own, coming to a Earnest Tubb & Ray Price dances I was allowed to sit or stand next to Buddy as he played, He always made it seem so effort less, smooth, sweet, pleasant also great to talk to if not playing or involved other wise, really a great guy.

We're so lucky to have these recording done by people at steel guitar shows, and wherever of this great player. Thank God, somebody had the mind set to record it on vido and audio too. my dad was always a big fan of buddy emmons and talked about all the great musicians of his time. this is the first time that I have had the pleasure to listen to him myself. I played steel for 10 years until I hurt my back and can no longer play. This song was my inspiration to play. Buddy makes it look so easy, but most can tell you it's not.
