I solved the problems mate. First I installed the iPhone OS 4.0 Theme + the OS 4.0 Calculator Icon (Modmyi). Then I installed the OS 3.2 & 4.0 Dock (thanks), but as you know it wasn't perfect. (All of these are on Winterboard). However I stumbled across something else which added the finishing touches. It's called iOS3 Icon Shadows, its a BigBoss tweak. This added the characteristic shadows behind apps, and it also moved up the text from under the dock apps to the correct height! - Fantastic!
@rudebwoi93 Also, I happened to notice in a comment somewhere you mentioning a downside being you can't set 2 different wallpapers. I solved this too. All you need to do is download iPhoneBrowser (First link on google search) plug your iphone in, google search ios 4.0 wallpapers, download the ones you want. Then, go to library/wallpapers in iPhoneBrowser.
@rudebwoi93 The images must be consecutively named, so in the Wallpapers folder ther'll be 116.png 117.png your next picture must be named 118.png and so on. Then go to Library/themes, select ur theme take whatever image u want as ur wallpaper replace it with the one called Wallpaper.png (must be same name) then disconnect go to winterboard tick user lock background - the new wallpaper.png will now be ur wallpaper. Then go Settings, wallpaper, select one, set. - This will now be ur lockscreen.
~UPDATE~ When I did this it worked. But not at first, I was confused for a minute. The tweak he has you installing is enabled via WINTERBOARD. I'm not sure if he said that. But if he didn't, you have to go into winterboard (if you have it) and enable it, then respring.
@KTrinh93 Haha, I figured you'd say that :P, Um, my dock with the wallpapers enabled goes awfully transparent D:, so I want it solid like it should be XD
@timthearcher1 Ha yeah but the only downside is that you can't set 2 different wallpapers for the lock screen and the homescreen like ios 4. But it's better than nothing
@KTrinh93 there is, but it takes a little work. Find you favorite ipod/iphone background and name it LockBackground.png. Then get your favorite ssh client and go into Var/Stash/Theme/OS 3.2 & 4.0 Dock (or any theme you are using) and put LockBackground.png into that folder...AND YOUR DONE!

If you unjailbreak your iPod do you still keep it?
BassJunkysAnonymous 10 months ago
@BassJunkysAnonymous By unjailbreaking you mean restore? Then no you won't. When you restore, you lose everything.
