Hi, Amadeus is pure Chihuahua...he is what they call a "deer head" chihuahua, that's why he has a more pointed snout, similar to a Min Pin, but he has the bigger, bugged out eyes. other chihuahua's are called, "apple head" chihuahua's and they have a much shorter snout. hope this helps...thanks, cj

What is the breed...my little girl looks the same. She is a rescued dog so I don't know the breeders. I suspect she is Chihuahua. Many I run across comment that my dog looks like a min-pin because she has the pointed snout as opposed to other Chihuahuas that have the shorter snout. . I was told she is indeed a Chihuahua.
