@Kokanauka For one, it doesn't work with higher-power guns nowadays. Also, it would have taken longer to shoot, reload, and shoot again with accuracy since you don't want to shoot your foot. Plus, it's a waste of ammunition. Yeah, muskets are terrible guns. :P

@TheGrengds I completely agree. But while is does dumb down and soften history to an almost offensive simplicity, I think it serves to make it more digestible for kids. I myself grew up on this show - looking back on it now, I realize how...well, not "correct" it was. It's not really a show for teens or adults :/
