omg what happend. This is on the ds why are the graphics so bad?The battle maps and characters art is horrible looking but they did decent cg and customization. Why slack on everything else. I was excited till i saw this.

@abstractpurpose Bad graphics??? this rmk is more adictive than snes version. If you wanna 3d models, stereo sound, new characters and battle maps you should look at front mission 2089, but this rmk rules, im lvl35 and im short shoter lvlmax.

Beat up to the missler mission(the Green Clowns of Death, Vonarts), get expertise in Short and use Pap-55s or (better) Mostro-10s and try to get Duel or Guide for your long guys

THis game is an RTS stripped of anything uniqe, i recomend caution with this game, once u get to a bad guuy all you do i tell them to attack them and like 3-4 turns later theres a winner, theres not much stratedgy in it, Advanced Wars is better, but there is a lot of customization in this game. ive only played through 3 missions, i dont think anythings gona change my opinion, ill say if it does

This is quite a hardcore game, not exactly for beginners/casual gamers, because the customisation and interface is very complicated. It doesn't hold your hand, as IGN put it. But if you want a decent strategy game (it isn't like advance wars), then it's a good choice. It's also one of the few games that plays the idea of customiseable mechs very well.

yeah, the first time i got this for DS it was sooooo boring! then i had alot of down time, started playing it, once i got the feel of the game i was instantly a Front Mission fan, though the weird thing is i completed the U.C.S. side before O.C.U.(the U.C.S. side was easier for me even though it says experienced players) i just cant find any other F.M. games in the U.S. T_T i hope they release some F.M. games for U.S. =(

The graphics in this game are wonderful. I am glad Square didn't fuck around with anything.

Well, it is a SNES port, but yeah, they could have updated it like the did with FFIII on the DS.

Actually, it's a semi-remake of FM 1st, which was a remake of the original FM for the PS1. The FMVs came from that version, but there's new ones for the definitive version of FM 1st aka the one on the DS.
