When we were young (about 10 years old) me and me friend used to play this game for hours, but we always got stuck at the closed port near the final part. We hardly knew any English at all and I remember we even asked my dad what the word ice cream meant. But beating those square headed guys (and each other...) were so fun enough and a lot easier than Mega Man 3. Funny that it took us nearly 10 more years to rediscover this game and finally beat the shit out of it! Awesome game and music!

I played this when I was 8 or 9 in the early 90's. I never got past the first few stages but it did not matter because it was fun just beating people with sticks, trashcans, and brass knuckles. This was the GTA equivalent of the NES.

i found some weird rom hack of this game were the many of the words had been replaced with curse n genitalia words. also the sprites of the people had been changed so they were exposing their Genitalia :O Street Challenge was swell aswell :O

This game was the best nes game i ever played, besides Goal 3 with the same characters, alone it's fun, but when you have a partner to play the game with xD, oh boay.

I laughed my ass off fighting enemy's or just hiting my friend, or using him as a weapon, the fact that we could fight eachother made it great.

We played this my whole childhood. It wasnt until I was 18 or so that I learned you have to completely beat every level/boss before you could get into the school. Still a great game though! Me and my wife beat it recently!

My one gripe with this game is it is painfully short. No need for a password system. All you need is the stone hands and dragon feet, eat a couple simple things, and know which screens have the bosses. It only takes about a half hour to beat it, but the replay is high at least
