they should get their vaccines young and their vitamins, theres no real need to use antibiotics unless youve actually spotted an infection, and to try topical antibiotics first depending on strain. organic is stupid, its just a label used by lobbyists for special farming supplies with extremely subjective(and often rigged by bribes) standards. If nature isnt suffering, the meat is clean, tastes good, and treated humanely, its all good. you wanna go au naturale, cool, but thats just up to you.
and i would definitely get some caps for the horns. it seems ideal to me. dont get impaled, dont let other livestock get stabbed and/or open to infection, and they still get to keep them unaltered and made much safer. like something with a thick blunt impact knob with a flat thing of rubber. a hard double punch to your horse's side is a hell of a lot better than sharp horns being stabbed with the same force applied.
