  • amazing peace of music!!

  • We got this man, we got this by the ass!

  • Number One Horror Film Of All Time ! Hands Down... The supposed "re-make"... PLEASE! The One And Only ! DAWN OF THE DEAD !

  • best zombie movie ever made

  • The music to this movie is just GOLDEN. Oh my god. I can't imagine DOTD without this music. It is so perfect~!!!! Whenever I write anything dealing with zombies, good ol' Goblin has to be turned on for my writing inspiration. Scenes of DOTD flood my mind and then the writing begins. I was born in 1991. I grew up on this movie. I literally fell asleep to this movie when I was 5 years old. I have loved it since I was a toddler. And to this day it is my absolute favorite movie.

  • hey i just realized. Steven, Francine and Roger? American dad?

  • @MrJimiCrow Peter? Peter griffin?

  • Awesome !!!!!

  • I have every singel one of Romeros movies, all in order nicely placed on a shelf with no other movies close to them lol. call it a addiction im zombie for Romeros work.

  • George A Romero

  • When theres no more room in hell....The dead will walk the earth...

  • wow 4 dislikes, i guess somewhere in the world 4 idiots no nothing about the orginal film.

  • you forgot the gonk

  • I would come home after the bars with a 12 pack and cigarettes and whatch this move every Friday night for over a year.

  • @Rawdeal7777

    Like a zombie!

  • its sound like a city of the living dead theme

  • the original is much better than the remake :) this film scared me a lot when i saw it as a child XD and this song is creepy :O

  • 4 people prefer the remake

  • Such and iconic score to an iconic movie

  • The Omen is better

  • @disturbedprincess666

    Why even compare them?

  • The entire DEAD trilogy in my opinion is great!

  • isn't this the one where in the original the only way you could tell they were a zombie was if they had blue skin??? I know in the original "Night Of The Living Dead" zombies looked like ordinary people, the again it was in black and white.....

  • @Shadowdwellerblake Yes, there were some blue zombies in this, thats 1970s special effects for you, haha. Yeah for today it is kinda cheezy, but otherwise it is still one of the greatest horror films of all time, it's alot better than that remake they made of this in 2004.

  • @MrLizardKing96 well newer zombie movies break all the zombie rules.

1- Zombies don't run. they walk like they are constipated with a 2x4 up their ass. XD

2- Zombies are deathly affraid of fire.

3- You have to hit a zombie in the head to kill it.

4- zombies don't have enough common sense to open doors even if you DIDN'T lock them.

5- zombies can't do anything that requires ANY form of dexterity like, firing a gun, driving a car, opening a window or door or weilding a blade.

  • One of the best zombie movies of all time.

  • 4 people are zombies!

  • ok everybody look all doped up and do a slow zombie walk. it's a very brainwashing song. excellent.

  • ok everybody look all doped up and do a slow zombie walk. it's a very brainwashing song.

  • çok güzel müzik insanı uyandırıyor filme çok iyi gitmiş

  • Ya the remakes crap compared to this. Apparently theres a 3d version of the film in the works if so i'm going to totally see it just so I can watch this masterpiece on the big screen.

  • My favorite movie of all time awesome. George Romero is my idol and made me want to make films.

  • 123 likes, 4 dislikes! 1234! thumbs up if you want it to stay this way

  • FELIZ PÁSCOA!!!!!

  • Do yourselves a favour: if you haven't seen the documentary, "Document Of The Dead", seek it out - you'll be entranced. Yes, Dawn is clearly Romero's most audaciously directed piece: peerless editing, chilling score by Goblin (in fact, Argento was a great support during the film's making- Romero went to Italy to write out the scrip)t!! Considering the budget and the volume of people, Savini did an applaudable job on make-up: no green screens here. A fucking kick ass Horror comedy with bite

  • the original is so much better than the re-make

  • look up gonk dawn of the dead man this isnt even near what dawn of the dead is like

  • I'm not normally a fan of synthesisers, but this is awesome! Goblin FTW!

  • A truly awesome piece of music for Romero's nightmare vision of the zombie apocalypse.

  • Best of the ZOMBIE movies!!!

  • gonna play this at my funeral

  • @mikkifly OMG too funny

  • @mikkifly Just want to say you're awesome.

  • @fizzypopism thx but i really am going to play it...lol

  • @mikkifly haha cool ^_=

  • 3 people think the remake is better than original.

  • @TzRakDanGerLP it's probably the director of the remake and his two assistants

  • The Goblins took an already awesome film to the stars.

  • @MmmScruplez my older brother seen the original in 78 trippin on acid and stayed for 2 shows and he said the ppl comin g in looked like zombies he thought they dressed up for the movie like Rocky Horror. And he had to walk home he said a dog that came out of nowhere and barked almost put him in a bad trip.Imagine watching the original on big screen trippin....that lucky fuck

  • a rember sye lent dead leigh high school night good.

  • I thought the remake was pretty good in it's own way, it was certainly better than the Day of the Dead remake, that was a piece of shit

  • @BobaFettRules321 agreed! this is good and awesome too. no doubt but the remake was just disturbing and scary(especially the intro which makes you think it was real!) and Day of the Dead remake? haven't heard of that yet...

  • @BobaFettRules321 That was the shittiest flick ive witnessed since annie, you cant even call it a remake a vegetarian zombie WTF is that?????

  • words of wisdom, @TheRalphus666, WORDS OF WISDOM!

  • should never remake movies that were already legends.

  • "No chance, forget it, let's get out of here!"

"Wait a minute, they can't get up here."

"Yeah, and we can't go down there!"

  • Night of the Living Dead is over... Dawn of the Dead is here!

  • 2004 one is scarier than the 1978 one

  • @CpXatMrBieber Its a decent remake, I like that the didn't try and create it scene for scene, but I prefer the original

  • @DaveSimonH lets settle this once and for all,Im 467 and remero was a god,now we have land of the dead, from 04?really bad, plus the 2 recent entries effing horrible,I'll be the first to say it,Hes obviosely doing too much of something, heroin?I would like nothing more than to say his stuff rocks.I say again,Im a very observant 467 year old who has lived through all this and it bothers me greatly that hes effing too lazy to make something epic, what a waste.

  • @crocetti46 the 85 Day of the dead which was NC-17 was awesome I remember buying tickets for mad max beyond thunderdome and trying to get my brother who is a year older to come with me he was like fuck that...I was 13 and had nightmares for a week but worth every minute

  • @CpXatMrBieber I think it was scarier because it seemed more apocalyptic but the 1978 is better cause its a classic

  • @CpXatMrBieber you're an idiot. The new one sucks dick. I saw it in the movies too. Also im not 40 years old, im 18 and i think the old one is 100x better.

  • @minority86 Just because someone disagrees with you or vice versa is no need to insult someone. That shows you're only 18 I guess.

  • @MickeyLove01 Who are you my mom? Hop off my nuts. Its the internet. I dont think i the kids feelings. Maybe I hurt your or something, which would make you a pussy. =)

  • @minority86 Shush now, have some more cake pumpkin. The bullies can't get you at home. Prick.

  • The remake of Dawn a few years ago doesn't hold a candle to Romero's 1978 original.

  • @kahless21 i thought the original was funny as hell lol.

  • 1 person didn't have this by the ass!

  • @TheRealZ4ppy u suk ur mothers kok

  • i think the music in the older zombie movies are alot scarier than recent ones. probably one of the reasons why the older ones are better for me, But Dawn of the Dead (original) is one of the creepiest i think anyway...

  • EVERY DEAD BODY UN EXTERMINATED BECOMES ONE OF THEM, IT GETS UP AND KILLS, THE PEOPLE IT KILLS GET UP AND KILL!

  • The Goblin soundtrack is awesome...but I have the music "score" too....and it rocks just as much as the soundtrack....get the score if you can.

  • All the music from Dawn Of The Dead was great. I love Goblin <3 But my favourite is that one called La Caccia when they're moving all the trucks to block the doors :)

  • does anyone have a link to this full MP3 of this theme, thatd be great!

  • When there is no more room in hell, the dead will be like "Shit it's crowded. Let's leave."

  • This is the song I want the emergency towers to play if there ever was a zombie outbreak.

  • This is one of my favorite themes. Fuck, I love horror movies.

  • I just love the Italian band Goblin .

  • Who actually plays the music to this film?

  • @NatDemUK Part of it (including this song) was written by Goblin, a somewhat strange band from Italy

  • @NatDemUK

The Italian Band Goblin made this fantastic Soundtrack to this Horror masterpiece.

  • When the world does end, 2012 or earlier/later, it better end with a zombie apocalypse!

  • @ZeldaFreak1987 OMG NOOOOOO i cant survive that man...but if we do have that i`ll try 2 stay alive

  • @ZeldaFreak1987 fuck that shit!

  • @ZeldaFreak1987 It won't end. There are only personal apocalypses..

  • @ZeldaFreak1987 Fuck you asshole! It better not!

  • @ZeldaFreak1987 fuck yeah!!! hack out the chainsaws and the machine guns. BD.

  • this theme is gorgeous as is the movie

  • wenn kein platz mehr in der hölle ist, werden die toten zurück auf die erde gehen.

  • @HEADSTYLE mein too but maybe im too young for watching that movie but it still awesome

  • mad song

  • when i listen this song, i always wanna watch the movie again

  • the Setting is the best, in the mall.

its like charlie in the chocolate factory :D

  • An outstanding film - there's nothing about it that isn't awesome

  • I can watch the movie many times and still love it..

  • i liked the older one best

  • I love this music

  • The originals are best. They just seem to be more brutal and graphic. When I watch them, I still feel a little dread. The remakes don't make me feel anything. The remake of Night of the Living Dead wasn't bad, though. If the zombie apocalypse ever did happen, I'd pick up a sawed-off and turn my head into hamburger. What would be the point in prolonging the inevitable?

  • @VoreDevoursThee QUITTER!

  • @VoreDevoursThee dam right i will sub u can u sub me back by the way i love this movie i always still get the creeps when i hear this music i still feel the dread or worse but in romeros zombie world i would just get gun and shoot as many of those motherfuckers out as i can X)

  • Why I love this movie so much is that it is the only horror film where I feel like I'm not watching it, I'm in it! I love the fact that the zombies move so slowly yet if they grab a hold of you you can be in some serious trouble. Plus there are so many of them! It is that unique set up that I love so much. The characters are tempted to get cocky and often feel invisible but as most find out the hard way, they are sadly not!

  • Undoubtedly the GREATEST HORROR FILM OF ALL TIME.

A truly stunning, visceral piece of film-making.

This film has it all...horror, action, drama & a soupcon of humour thrown in for good measure.

    Sheer class.

  • @ffjkhguhgft ya i saw this movie for the first time only a year or 2 ago but this is undoubtedly my favorite movie of all time love all of romeros films

  • @thebitkid I can't tell you how many times I've watched "DOTD"...countless times!

  • @ffjkhguhgft this one and day of the dead were the best

  • @ffjkhguhgft could not have put better truly a masterpiece which will never be recreated in my opinion just a brutally amazing film from the man himself, with the help of Argento of course.... Cheers

  • @ffjkhguhgft That film still gives me nightmares ...

  • @ffjkhguhgft I think Halloween is the best but it's just my opinion :)

  • Christ! How I'd love to hear some toh-dilly blow out heavy metal version of this song!

  • You just gave me an idea! Nice one!

  • Still the greatest Romero film of all time - if not one of the greatest horror movies outright. I'll take the groovy 1970s synthesizer music over orchestration any day, thank you!

  • @StoanPhrogg well just orchestral instruments is BORING!!! SNORSVILLE!!!! john carpenter makes awesome music all by himself on a keyboard and one of them synths that you plug a bunch of ratty wires into a wall with. XD

  • George A. Romero. The human equivalent to God.

  • It's hard to make a truly scary movie anymore. I think the key is to play off the unknown, and most often now people know what zombies are. Maybe we need some new creatures that have zombie characteristics, but aren't technically zombies.

Honestly, I didn't find Dawn of the Dead all that scary, except for the first 5 - 10 minutes in the TV station - that first 30 seconds, especially, when the music blared in and you saw the girl wriggling and the sh-t really hits the fan. ; )

  • They already tried that idea with 28 Days Later and it really wasn't a much scarier concept, in my opinion. The only way to make zombies truly scary again is by presenting them as creatures that were once living, breathing human beings that we knew and loved. What could be more horrifying than the concept of one of your own family members dying only to spring back to life a short time afterward and try to rip the flesh of your bones with their bare teeth?

  • That might work for some people, but for me personally, since I already know what a zombie is essentially, how it reacts, etc., and since zombie movies now tend to be a bit formulatic [not a real word], I really don't give two craps about family members dying in films, because I know there's nothing that can be done. I guess since I'm not really much of an emotional person [anymore], this movie genre has a harder time sucking me in anymore.

  • I can kind of understand where you're coming from. I guess it's hard for some people to get emotionally invested in ANY type of movie anymore which is probably why they've lost a lot of their appeal these days for a lot of people, which is really sad. I wish more zombie movies were like Peter Jackson's Dead Alive ( aka Braindead ) myself. At least that film mixed a lot of comedy with the horror and had a fairly decent love story.

  • Now, maybe if more zombie movies were like Shaun of the Dead or there was a chance for a cure, then there'd be a reason for some emotional investment. But most just end with no remaining hope, so I just stop caring and try to get adrenaline rushes from the running, shooting, and explosions. ; )

  • Greatest horror film...EVER. These are some of the only horror movies I like, I love all of the Romero zombie movies (including Diary of the Dead, but I like it only). Can't beat Dawn. I am looking for Zombie 2.

  • Zombie 2 is boring compare to this film

  • this song is very creepy all the more to love it with :P

  • This is my #1 favorite movie.

  • wanna come to my house and watch it with me ?

  • WHEN THERE IS NO MORE ROOM IN HELL< THE DEAD WALK THE EARTH.

    genious movie and theme

  • where there is no more food in my fridge.......... i shal...

    go to the grocery store

  • I will admit the ending to the 1978 one was a lot creepier; all you hear is the shuffling of feet in a mall full of zombies, but nothing else. No speaking, no breathing, just shambling corpses. That ending WAS freaky.

  • 0:00 to 1:54 reminds me of

    nightmare creatures.Reason is because

played the game before i saw the movie.

  • Man horror movies in the 60s 70s 80s and most of the 90s were awesome to bad ever since 2000 hit horror movies sucked big time.

  • yea i havent been scared in awhile

  • Man the 78' version was a heck of alot better then the 04' version

  • Yeah that's true, although the '04 version really hit personally. I mean when you think about, suburbs in this situation are totaly death traps!

  • i wonder how if that tune may sounding played by a death/doommetalband....?

  • this is way better than the remake with its intense attitude to the future showing how gritty the future is when it comes to a zombie apocalypse with a funny attitude of zombie stupidity versus mankind anarchy. The remake did not have this.

  • This is the perfect music while trying to get the Zombie Genocider achievement in Dead Rising.

  • To teh tunnels!! lolz i hated getting that acheivement. took me like 3 hours! well, at least i got the best firearm in the game as a bonus, so whats there to even really complain about?!

    (btw, best horror/zombie film EVAR!!)

  • the best zombie theme ever

  • Does anyone know where I can find the music of when they land on the supermarket for the first time (specifically during the "some kind of instinct" speech) of the European cut? I remember it was a lot more thudding than the American version. I found it scarier.

  • love it

  • this theme is bad ass.

  • I do hope if george decides to make another zombie flick that it will out do his newest release.

  • This will Always be a Classic!

  • The drums sound like they are going to the beat of a heart a lot. LUB DUB LUB DUB LUB DUB

  • LOL this movie is so funny

  • L'alba dei morti viventi is SO GOOD!!

I have this soundtrack ^o^ I prefer La Caccia (the music when they're cleaning all the bodies out :D)

  • this theme is very relavant to whats going on right now rember if someone who has the flu comes a knocking shoot in head burn body

  • i dont understand why romero didnt like that sound..but im happy they put it in the european version :)

    good work argento and goblin

  • when there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth

  • lol

  • I put those into some thrash metal lyrics of mine.

It sounds scary as hell bro.

  • @themthrashinkids Can you upload it?

  • I don't have it copywrited so I don't want it to be stolen. D:

  • @sunzsu Song from: "Abyssal Creation"?

  • @sunzsu GREAT! Now How Am I Going To Sleep With This In My Head?!??

  • killer
