  • can you do this in imovie 08

  • thanks bro

  • If you all are working in iMovie '11, click on the "iMovie" header in the top left, and then click on "Preferences". Once you're on that page, place a checkmark next to "Show Advanced Tools". This will make the Speed option show up.

  • what song is playing on your vid?

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH...does it work on mac books...

  • Wow you helped me a lot!! Thanks so much ;D

  • Haha press 8, then 9 over and over sounds pretty cool

  • Oh I understand, now. I have iMovie 08. :P

  • I'm doing everything you said, but after i select my clip and go to the window thing, the "V" doesn't show up. I can't get to the clip option, either. I can't get to it by any of the selections that are on the clip, either.

  • perfect

  • omg thank you so much!!!

  • thank you!

  • OMG THNX!

  • How do you get it to be faster than 200%??

  • thank thank thank youuuu!!!!

  • thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • doesn't work for me. i don't see the speed tab. only "Stabilize the video" thingy.

  • @varquez7 Same here should i click tht?

  • @Brilovescows i know the solution now, once it stabilizes the video and converts it, select the entire video, then drag it up, then select all again, then press "V" then it should now display the speed thingy.

  • @varquez7 do you have 09 version? because mine worked.

  • @chezjackson i figured it out. i now have the '11 version. haha

  • @varquez7 do you have it on advanced settings?

  • @varquez7 exactly, what the fuck

  • @varquez7 The solution is to put the video in a project, then try it

  • @varquez7 you dont see it because you havnt added it to the project right click a clip and click select whole clip and drag it down

  • @varquez7 This is because you have a iMovie which is newer than 09's version

the speed bar is 6th down on the list after following this videos instructions

  • @varquez7 oh just reduce the speed :) like you see the speed thing and it has the icons rabbit and tortoise on each side of the bar, right? beside that to the right there's another bar. just click on that bar and change the numbers from 100 to 50 to make it half speed. OR from 100 to 25 to quarter speed.

  • @varquez7 I'm not sure, but try to go to preferences and click "show advanced tools"

  • @varquez7 click "clip" that where the turte=le and bunny are lul :)

  • @varquez7 sorry okay here this is more precise: On the side of the video when you hover over it will show a setting tab, then click clip adjustments. then you see da turtle.

  • @varquez7 same!!!

  • Mac Only???

  • @TheJamesp55 lol. duh. ever heard of iMovie for Windows? =))))

  • Awesome!! Thanks:) It works perfectly fine for me. Win.

  • @sodapopmangagirl how u get imovie for windows?

  • @jagknullarmycket there's no iMovie for Windows

  • doesn't work for me : /

  • i cant find it
