lol that's nice how you compared your hand to the monitor size thank's dude, cause it looked kinda small until after you put your hand in. That thing is huge!
Those are crappy headphones cant believe razer sells them, they are a remake of Turtle beaches hpa-2 headphones and after buying both I feel they dont even deserve the statement crap
looks like a true piece, unfortunately jut called MSY and they dont have them in stock atm. Just as I was going to buy it the next day. Guess I will have to wait :(
Hey man, I'm thinking of getting this monitor. I've heard that 1920:1080 on a 27 inch monitor might be too small and make things look too big. Looking at your monitor, there isn't really anything wrong but what's your opinion. Are the pixels too big? Or is it ok
you need speakers that use a 3.5mm jack which is the same width that you would plug into your ipod or computer or use your ps3 (if you have surround sound ussually.)
Love that Monitor... but... I got some trouble with the ghosting and that collors get lighter/darker even if its just slightly tilted (anoying as hell since i put down lots of time in photoshop... I often need to drag the image over on my other monitor to see if collors look ok). And it gets HOT as hell...
But the size makes up for it and i would never ever go back to something smaller.
too much more resolution u need sli graphics cards, not all can have that im one of them cause they dont sell too big case in brazil so i cant hook sli on it...no space...and i wont buy from ebay and wait 6 months for it calling everyday tot he airport to deliver it and pay a tax of 800% over its price hehe...i mean for the case >_>
so thats why ill never have a monitor above 27 inches and i really wanted one 30 and i guess in 2 years a 36 ....
get alienware 3d 23 inches monitor, it has output for playstation wii, xbox and very good image quality and awesome adjustments of height, up and down etc, very good...and weights same as the led samsung monitor that is 1.2" thick...
ohh u r using 1920 1080 rosolution for a 27 inch monitor wat a funny ha ha that reslolution is for 22 inch monitors and 1920 1200 is for 24 monitors it can bee 27 for sure and u meshed it
MrAnsh1991 > Are you a complete retard? You can get laptops with 17" screens that have a resolution of 1920x1200.
I'm personally using a 37" TV screen, and running 1920x1080, and it looks fine. Switching to something smaller soon, though. Just don't have space in my room for a TV screen AND a monitor.
Hey guys, can someone answer me something. I am looking at buying an Acer 27inch monitor & the res on the box says 2048 by 1052 which i hardly ever hear of. Is that res okay to play games on or will it conform to like 1920 - 1080? excuse my nubness

@yos9636 The hp2710m that came out about a month after you posted this is beautiful. It's a hos though, consuming a max 135 watts. The other downside is that it doesn't have an antiglare screen, but that's my own personal preference. I recently bought the Samsung P2770H over these two. Power Consumption: 50watts, Response Time: 2ms, Contrast Ratio: 70,000:1, Resolution: 1920 x 1080 full HD. Slim design. The video input is either Analog or DVI, even though it has an HDMI port (for peripherals).

@dragonmustard2 hi mate thnxx for your advise i finally bought a full hd tv 1080p 32" and i am using this as a monitor and it works perfectly i will never again buy a pc monitor tvs are the best mate.
Very nice monitor. I'm thinking of buying one for myself. One quesiton though: What resolution are you using there? 1920x1080? Is it sharp? And can you use higher resolutions than that on the desktop?
Thats the best way to play Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 with HDMI. Im using my Hitachi 42'' plasma at 1080i via HDMI cable, But I cant wait to get my 27'' HD monitor at 1080p. Bigger is not always better, Nice setup bro.
Got that for 32,000 Yen...thats like 300$. And i got the DVI cables with them too...But the thing is i dont kno how to activate the DVI thing..it detects but its completely black..nothing happens...
lol, dude, I have the same speakers, same keyboard, and a razor mouse - deathadder. Next up is that monitor... although I wanna check out what the monitor looks like off, to see if it has that image sharpening cover, or if its a simple matted display. My current 22" HP has a sweet surface that looks like glass but isn't glass and gives an amazing picture quality/brightness/sharpness I don't see on the matted displays.
Question bro... Can i Run to HD Moniters on one Graphics card? which has vga,HDMI,DVI can i run one moniter HDMI and the other DVI ??? is that possible or go another route

1920x1080 is a 16:9 aspect ratio (tv widescreen ratio)
1920x1200 is a 16:10 aspect ratio
1920x1440 is a 16:12 or 4:3 aspect ratio

1. How's the input lag?
2. Do the monitor have any overscan problems?
3. Background bleeding?
4. Ghosting?
5. Is black really black?
6. How about dark areas (viewing angel)?
