I have an '89 Epi V and the knob set up is exactly the same, but mine came with a Floyd Rose (Bennder). I just re-routed it for a Floyd speed loader and it's back to kicking ass....nice guitar!

i'm about to get the exact same guitar 2nd hand but i don't know anything about flying V's. My question is this: why is the knob configuration of this different from the other 67 flying V's?

I have a Gibson flying V and I would like to ask you :

Is your flying V significantly louder than your other guitars? unplugged?

I am just curious because mine is quite loud and wonder if all of them are like that. Body is very light. Thanks!

Yes sir i have the Gibson1967 flying v and it is louder both plugged in and unplugged

I think probably because the body has more resonance

didnt have much time for the best settings of amp.maybe thats why.and also with a better amp,great tones u would hear.
