Nice video! I was in Shanghai and Shenzhen several months ago. If you´re looking for electronics... shenzhen is a paradise and worth a 30min trip from hongkong. I think the prices are about 35-40% cheaper than shanghai also because there are not much tourists.

Batteries are changeable, except the unit has to be opened up. Usually they say they can't change the batteries is because you can't change it directly. Same with iPods.

Bargaining is a waste of time, if there is room in the price to go down... you are obviously paying too much. One could build an MP4 player for less than $30 USD... just imagine a manufacturer buying all of their parts wholesale, it cuts the cost down considerably.
