That is an awesome looking craft, but... Couldn't the same type of boat be built with most of the gap between the wings closed up a bit more ?, (at least to almost above the rear edge of the front wing), as the same amount of air pressure is already under the hull ?. The leading edge of the rear wing shape seems to add more drag than it does lift ?.

@jaendos Kann schon eine deutsche Efindung sein. Aber die Verwaltung der BRD hats, wie so vieles andere auch, gewaltsam abgewürgt: Fax, Wasserflugzeug/Flugboot, Wireless Lan, Datenübertragung übers Telefon, Verschlüsselungsgeräte fürs Telefonieren, CB-Funkgeräte, Handys. Manches hat man nach dem Abwürgen dann doch zulassen müssen weil es überall im Ausland erlaubt war.
