This concept is sort of intriguing. It's a very Orwellian concept, with the Big Brother mind control, and you can see that it draws upon a lot of various places, ExistenZ, Battle Royale, 1984, Brave New World, Death Race, Condemned, etc. but ExistenZ is the big one for me. It might have some merit as an action flick, but it might cause a bit of backlash against video games making kids violent. We'll see. Personally, I will likely wait for the DVD.
