  • I'm glad you have completed that, but still those pushups are equal to about 15 or 20 good form pushups.

  • Congratulations on completing the 100! I just competed day 1 of the training today and my arms are SORE! Reading your story on your site has really inspired me though.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks for all your comments; good & bad! LOL!

I agree my form is not the best, but I did raise over £500 for Cancer Research UK so I am still chuffed & I think you can see how hard it was!

I didn't repeat any of the weeks but Week 6 was sooo hard.

Steve Spiers, the man behind the program emailed me to say just rotate between Week 4 & 5 to maintain form.

I am now considering doing the entire 6 week program again but this time doing "proper" push ups. Watch this space.

  • Man leave this guy alone, he kind of did 102 push-ups. The only problem is that those werent proper push ups :-)

  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I've read your whole "Pushup log for Formydad", was funny to read and very helpful for me.

Did your read the "what is a push up" section on the hundred push ups training program site?

I quote: "Keeping the body straight, lower body to the ground by bending arms at the elbows. Raise body up off the ground by extending the arms. Repeat.

    (part 1)

  • (part 2)

On the video it looks like u rapidly did the push ups. U need to slow it down and your body must almost touch the ground. In my eyes it is not a good-form" push ups".

Anyway, I liked u have wrote your diary and uploading this video. And again: Congratulations on the 100!!!

  • Sorry I missed your other Question.

I am now doing Week 3 and Week 4 to maintain the level and then moving on to Week 5 and Week 6 and so on.

  • Thanks CMD. :-)

I did fail on Day 1 and 2 of Week 6 but felt that having managed 73 at the end of Week 5 I just decided to have a go for the 100 anyway.

It was really hard work and I know I lost form on some of them! But for me, a slightly over weight 42 year old, I am just so chuffed to have managed it. Never did I think at the start of the 6 week program that I would be able to do this.

Huge thanks to Steve Spiers for coming up with this great program :-)

  • Good work! I just started week five. Did you have to repeat any of the weeks? Do you plan on maintaining at that level? If so, what program would you follow to stay there? I figure I'd just stay with week six and maybe add reps as needed. Again, congrats!
