Good info but most of us in this great hobby know or should know that you get what you pay for ;-( buy a cheap plane get cheap/bad electrics and so on but it shouldn't take much to change them over as i'm sure you know,thats why these planes never cost the earth ;-) thanks for sharing.
That's how they keep the price down. you're lucky if you get a few flights out of the servo before it just goes totally bad. Switch the servos and have fun.
This is why I almost never use the crappy servos(or other crappy hardware) that come in cheap planes(nitroplanes / bananahobby). I almost always replace them with quality HH hardware! The foam is usually good, but the planes are usually way underpowered, and have problems like you just showed us :)

i have the AMX Jet from Robbe with delivered Robbe-Servos in it. Ther is no centering Problem.
Thus Rudders acts with high speed to a very strong steering power, I would have recognized it.
