McCain once again is avoiding the issues and going for political mud slinging.
Obama's remarks were toward the failed Bush policies, and McCain dressing up these failed policies as good. But failed policies are bad policies, no matter how much McCain and Palin dress them up; hence LIPSTICK.
Too bad people are too stupid to realize this and just want Obama to look bad.
McCain should make another Britney Spears ad to cover up this failure as well.

It seems to me that Obama was referring to the fish quote as an analogy for McCain and the pig quote as an analogy for Palin. McCain used this same "lipstick on a pig" phrase earlier this year, referring to Hillary Clinton's policies. Now, I don't think McCain was calling Hillary a pig - he was criticizing her policies. Plus, Obama's been using this same phrase on the trail before Palin even entered the race (and he was specifically talking about John McCain and his policies in this video - no mention of Sarah Palin). So maybe if u stop smoking long enough you will learn how to read. And she said the only difference between her and a pitbull is lipstick at the convention. And McCain and Cheney are older people where that was a common saying. Obama has been in the public spotlight everyday for 19 months and only first used it one week after Palin made it the latest household & workplace buzz word.

When you say "they" called Obama uppity, you're not being honest. Georgia Republican representative Westmoreland said that, and the statement has been condemned by other conservatives. McCain's campaign never used that word. But it's easy to just say "they" said something, and try to blame McCain for anything that any republican says. But that is dishonest. The statement in this video came directly from Obama's mouth, and he'll pay for it politically.

One he never referred to her so how did he call her anything. and since we are implying things then it must be true that Westmoreland was reaching back to the old way Blacks were referred to in the South when they had education and a little bit more than the average Black during those times.
