hey there because of you i am on my way to get my lscs se 92 up to day but i have a problem with my air suspension does not want to go up , don't know why can u sugest something will be greatly appreaciated thank you ,
Nice car man, actually no, kickass machine dude. I was thinking about doing this to my lincoln over the summer, the engines at 130k miles and I would like a 5 speed swap. How much did it cost you all together to get the 5spd swap and the 347 kit in there? Im putting 4.10's in soon as of right now. Just something I would like to do over the winter.
What is the hold up... I need more videos.. I'm thinking about pulling my 347 from my '57 and putting it in my '90 LSC SE. just trying to get some ideas.
There are a lot of variables involved...make sure your block work is done by a seasoned pro. Custom engines are not usually going to last 200,000 miles since they're built to be run hard anyway. But you can expect a long life if you do things right. There's plenty of online reading about this subject.
Hey brother just wanted to ask what you did with the suspension is it with the airbags still, and if not my buddy tried to some convertion kits and he said they suck and could even bend the back frame what do i do please let me know
that sounds so nice, you gotta get some videos during the day...maybe a couple acceleration videos, because i know this linc has some get up and go. is that the stock 302 block bored to a 347 or is it a whole new block.
im getting another mark vii soon and i love the way this one sounds and i was looking to do something similar with my motor(minus the flowbastards =])
Simply magnificent.I checked out your website too and it was very informative. My mom used to own a 92 LSC and it was great.Black, with tinted windows,a 5.0 engine. Now its gone but i hope to someday purchase one on my own and relive the dream.Kudos to you for fixing up a nice ride.
Looks and sounds great. Not really diggin the reverse strobes, but that's hardly an issue for most. Look forward to some tire smokin vids. - Helmut Roner on Corral

Whats the biggest engine you could possibly fit in an 89 lsc?
Cuz im stuck debating whether or not to rework the block or just jam another engine in her.
Quetzalcoytl 3 years ago
The same as any Fox-body Mustang...
I think the 351 block has a higher deck and may interfere with hood clearance.
If you stay with the 302 block, bored out and stroked, you should have no hood clearance issues. Research this to make sure...
Britanski 2 years ago
my main concern is that ive read with stroking comes shortened engine life...is that true or not?

Sorry for the delay. The guy who built the short block used the wrong wrist pin retainers and some fell out. (What a freakin idiot!) uGh!
I am replacing the pistons with proper spiro-locks and rebuilding the engine. Will be back up and running, January 2009 with new videos.
Thanks all for the props!
